Testifying will cost maybe put you out, that’s ok listen religion does

not compare with his good news.

This once blind man was harassed by this religious group, they made him feel as if he was a no one, ...”So they put him out.” In our age as we know it today their are many like these Pharisees blown up by religion, that is it nothing but hot air. Scenarios similar to this happen all the time religion stands in the way, and when you take a stand and testify words just as simple as this once blind man did, John 9:25, ...”one thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.”, you will not be understood. Look at these words, John 9:35, “Jesus heard that they had put him out, and finding him, He said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?” Family, friend, seek God in all through Jesus Christ and watch your experiences serve as a tes-timony, he knows our needs and if you are thrown out, he knows and covers you, He is

good news.

Line up Your Heart

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely

on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.”

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria When the Lord looks at your heart,

what does He see?

Everyone has an outer life and an inner life. The outer life is our public life that people can see. The inner life is made up of

your thoughts, attitudes and motives. Only you and God know what’s going on inside.

Too many people go around today pretend-ing — acting one way, yet on the inside,

they’re thinking something totally differ-ent. Their heart and their actions don’t

line up.

We have to understand that God looks at the inside. We can fool a lot of people, but we can’t fool God. God would rather us be open and honest than for us to go through

life pretending or wearing masks. Today, take inventory of what’s going on inside of you. Are you at peace? Are you overlooking offenses? Do you believe the best in people?

Are your heart and actions lining up? If not, submit your ways to the Lord today and ask Him to give you an undivided heart. Live a life pleasing to Him and walk in His bless-

ing all the days of your life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY Dear Father, I humbly come before You to-

day and ask that You search the deep places of my heart. Show me if there is any area where I need to line up my heart and ac-

tions. Help me to be authentic in You today in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Growing Your Faith

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the

word of God.” (Romans 10:17, NKJV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Do you desire to have more faith? Scripture

tells us that faith can grow and increase. No-tice that today’s scripture doesn’t say, “Faith

comes by having heard the Word of God one time.” It says that faith comes by hearing — in the present tense. We have to hear the Word of God over and over again in order for it to

take root in our hearts and transform our minds. Sure, God’s Word can transform us in an

instant, but most of the time, our faith grows as we hear the Word of God again and again.

Just as a seed needs water daily to grow, your spirit needs the Word of God daily. The more you hear God’s Word, the more you know Him. The more you know Him, the more you will be

able to believe Him — and that’s what faith is!

Today, why don’t you choose a few scriptures to meditate on? Write them down and carry them

in your purse or wallet. Let that truth sink down into your soul. Let the truth of the Word transform you and move you forward into the

abundant life God has prepared for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY Father in heaven, thank You for Your Word that is living and active and growing in my

life. I submit myself to You today and ask You to teach me Your ways. Give me insight into

Your Word so that I may know You more in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Continued from page 5Several times I have written in my Good News articles that no one is exempt from experienc-ing hardships, and mostly they come suddenly or unexpected. This account of this blind man we know was a condition from his birth, we have no history of how his parents lived but apparently they were religious because they were afraid to be thrown out of the synagogue. They were afraid of an ancient religious sect called the Pharisees, they claimed prophetic or Mosaic au-thority for their interpretation of Jewish laws. So when the neighbors and those who knew of him being a beggar and saw him no longer blind but seeing they immediately began asking a question we find written in John 9:10, ...”How then were your eyes opened?” Jesus restored his sight, stay with me and will discover how are

hardships serve a purpose for good news.

Watch this about this account, John 9:14 “As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth.” Clear-ly Jesus identified a need “...He saw a man blind from birth.” Despite Jesus knowing that many around him that day were stuck in nothing but religious beliefs that blinded them from the truth that was in the midst of them, he did not hold back and reacted to help someone in need. You will discover as you read about this story the testimony of this once blind man got him

The word religion is sometimes used inter-changeably with faith or belief system, but re-ligion differs from private belief in that it has a social aspect. A global 2012 poll reports that 59% of the world’s population is religious, 23% are not religious, and 13% are atheists. When I think about these statistics it simply lets me know their is a lot of work, we must keep tell-ing his good news. In God’s written word their

is a story of how the attitude towards being religious blinds you from the truth. Sometimes it causes people so deeply committed to their

religious beliefs to only be that, religious and miss out on experiencing a fulfilling life found

only in Jesus Christ the Son of God, Jehovah. Follow me in the article and you will see how

God’s works were manifested in the life a blind man, to say “now I see”. This can be your testi-

mony too, good news.

GOOD NEWS! Check out the following story found in the

New Testament Holy Bible, about the gospel of Jesus Christ the Son of God, Jehovah. It reads in

John 9:1-4 “As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi,

who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind ?” Jesus answered, “It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents ; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him.” Maybe you have a situa-

tion, that concerns you, your family, it could be similar to this story like this man that was blind from birth. Ok, I agree sometimes we feel overwhelmed, beat down and just flat out not

able to make sense of things, relax. It reads in the second part of Matthew 6:32 ..”for your

heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.” Follow me and I will explain His good
