Copyright Rex Gilroy 2009.On the afternoon of Friday January 4th 2008, Mr and Mrs Colin and Myra McKenzie of Sydney spotted ahuge silvery dumbbell-shaped objecthovering among clouds high above Mt Banks as they drove along the Bilpinto Bell Road. Pulling up on the roadside they got out and watched as the massive shape moved slowlynorthward in the direction of the Wollemi wilderness and out of view.

On this same road back in April 1967 a Mr David Flood was travelling from Sydney towards Bell onhis way to Lithgow, when at about 11pm he saw a great egg-shaped craft, yellow-glowing and emitting brightsilvery rays of light form large floodlights at both ends of the craft as it descended to hover close to theground.

During an interview some years ago David drew me a rough sketch of what he saw. I could see a longnarrow window and the craft was lit from within, so that I could see five people, head and shoulders only, watching me. Below

this was an oddly-shaped door. It opened and I could see a human-looking figure, a dark figure outlined by the inside glow. Heseemed to float to the ground.

David informed me that as the craft descended to a couple of metres above the road his car suddenlydied and he became petrified, unable to move, seated in his car barely 30 metres away.

I was terrified and unable to move as the figure approached me. Then as the figure stood in front of the car I found Iwas able to move again and the car also came alive again, the headlights came on and lit up the figure, who was about 2 metresin height. He had a greenish egg-shaped head, two longish narrow white eyes and a small mouth. I was able to see that the beingwore dark-coloured boots, light brownish skin-tight trousers and a black shirt-like garment that covered him from wrists to neck.He carried a strange dark metallic tool-like object in his left hand [which David drew for me RG] and I noticed a wide silverybelt with long narrow metallic decorative objects

However, as the being stood watchinghim, David frantically turned the car around and put his foot

hard on the peddle speeding back the way he had come.I returned the next day with two mates and we searched about the road area but found no trace of anything that mighthave indicated space beings had landed there.

similar to many other descriptions of beings reported over many years throughout the Blue Mountains, if notelsewhere Australia-wide. Interestingly, a good number of encounters with ETs in and around theBurragorang Valley location of course of the Australian/American underground base have involvedbeings of this description! Are these the beings though to have shared advanced space travel technologysecrets with the inhabitants of the Burragorang Base?

Mr Robert Carlo informed me in February 1999 that he was followed one night by a blue-glowing

flying saucer along Mulgoa Road, NSW.I had been driving from Werrington, the time was about 9.30pm and I was on my way to visit friends atWarragamba, when this bright blue-glowing craft suddenly descended above me and kept pace with my car. I was worried at whatwas going to happen next. I could see people along the road pointing and yelling, so I knew I wasnt imagining things.

Then this big bubble-shaped craft appeared in front of me, keeping pace with my car and about 30ft ahead. It waspinkish-coloured, and there was a large round window, through which I could see two humanoid creatures momentarily before itsuddenly sped away to the west over the Blue Mountains. All I can recall of the beings were their longish heads, human-like facesand fare chests, long arms and their skins being of orangey colour, he told me a few weeks after his experience.

As this article is being written there appears to be a lot of night-time activity going on in theBurragorang Valley, with strange lights seen by people, and mystery glowing objects moving in and out of the

valley. New openings for flying craft have come into operation in a particular gully there in recent months,

THEYOWIE REVEALEDNEW LIGHT FROM FOSSIL SKULLS.by Rex Gilroy.Copyright Rex Gilroy 2009.

Recent discoveries of fossil skull-types have revealed the true identities of hominins [aka hominids] collectively calledthe hairy Man or Hairy people by our Aborigines, otherwise known from the north and south coastal, BlueMountains and Central West of New South Wales as the Yowie.

While some misinformed investigators have collectively called relict hominins Yowie regardless of whetherthey were large or small beings when described in reports, or that they displayed varying facial structure etc., it is nowcertain that the Hairy Man mystery involves not only a giant form but also two distinct smaller racial types.

The evidence presented here involved not only living remnant groups of classical Homo erectus, but also agiant Australian form identified by me and titles Rexbeast for the past several years. These are tool-making, fire-

making hominins. The third racial type, like classical Homo erectus is of average human height but displays distinctprimitive skull features seemingly more apish than human although he is of undoubted hominin character.As the reader will see from previous writings by me in newsletters, books and website articles on the subject,

Homo erectus skull-types of both the archaic and late forms leading directly to the first anatomically modernhumans, have been recovered by the Gilroys and Greg Foster over a wide area of Australia. All these fossil skull andskull endocasts are heavily mineralised, attesting to their often immense age, often placing them in middle or earlyPleistocene times. Sometimes these skulls were associated with crude eoliths [ie dawn tools]. However, the moreprimitive apeish skull-types just mentioned undoubtedly belong to a form of hominin quite distinct from averageHomo erectus skulls, including those of the archaic flattish cranium form. My findings now provide me with theopportunity to bestow scientific [ie Latinised] names on all but the average Homo erectus who is already well known.

*****To avoid much unnecessary detail, the average height tool-making, fire-making Yowie is identified from skull-

types recovered Australia-wide, but particularly along the Great Dividing Range, Blue Mountains and other coastalranges, regions still known for sightings of these Hairy People. The giant Homo erectus is identified at present fromskull-types recovered form the Wadbilliga Mountains of far south coastal New South Wales, the Murray River countryaround Balranald and Euston as well as Katoomba [Blue Mountains]. A giant hominin lower back premolar tooth wasrecently recovered by me on the Abercrombie River south of the Kanangra Boyd National Park country. Other remainsinclude a large jaw and molar teeth fragment from a Bathurst district site, a large lower back premolar tooth fromWestmead [Sydney], a massive jaw fragment from Coonabarabran and left cranial fragment from Coolah [CentralWestern New South Wales].

The other apeish skull-type was recovered by me at Euston on the Murray River on Monday 26th October2009. The fossil, in poor condition, is of limestone mineralisation and originated in 1 million year old strata. Itcompares with a smaller fossil skull-type recovered some years ago at a Flinders Ranges, South Australia site, and alsoother skulls from the Blue Mountains, Sydney and Barraba district of northern New South Wales. This primitive race

has now been named Homopithecus, or Ape-Man. The skull features of this race when reconstructed with fleshproduces a being reminiscent of the commonly claimed seen long-haired, ape-like Yowie. However, our commonsensereconstruction reveals a primitive hominid who while being hirsute probably over much of the body like modernhumans, and perhaps a little more so [as was Homo erectus as scientific opinion holds], would not have been coveredfrom head to feet in long thick hair as commonly exaggerated by researchers, the public and cartoonists alike!

As Homopithecus [at this stage] does not appear to have been a fire-maker and ate his meat raw when notpursuing an herbivorous diet, he certainly fits the man-like, ape-like Yowie descriptions of our early Aborigines andpioneer settlers.

To return to the giant Homo erectus race. From a comparison of the available skull-types and other fossilremains, including fossil giant-size feet impressions which resemble present-day fresh footprint finds in isolatedmountainous forest country, some time ago I came to the conclusion that this form of Homo erectus stood 3.66 metrestall [there were larger fossil forms] and I subsequently named him Rexbeast.

Along the Murray River the Giant Hairy Man was known to the tribespeople as the Ngurunderi, and he was

known to steal lubras from campgrounds, dragging them back to his campfire. I have therefore given this race the nameHomo erectus Ngurunderii, this coming just after two new fossil finds made at Balranald, consisting of a large sectionof rear braincase found in a field outside the town. This limestone mineralised fragment was unearthed on Monday 26thOctober on my way to Adelaide with Heather; then on Thursday 5th November while on our way back to Katoomba, Ihad Heather stop the car while I once again investigated the same field. Shortly afterwards I retrieved a large limestonemineralised skull endocast [see photos for measurements of the fossils], which on various grounds, such as thestratigraphy I recovered it in, leads me to believe it to be no more than around 400,000 years BP.

Being at last able to identify the eastern Australian Yowies with Latinised scientific names from actual fossilevidence gathered over the past 37 years is a real achievement, for we are now able to link the skull-types with thepresent-day survivors. Since I first began Yowie research in 1957 I have gathered around 10,000 sightings reports frompioneer days to the present, together with ancient Aboriginal tales, and these come from remote wild regions Australia-wide. There were countless names of the Hairy people throughout Aboriginal Australia. The term however rather

than describing these hominins as covered in hair actually meant that they wore animal hide garments, just like the earlyAborigines. The reader can find these matters discussed at greater length on my websites and in recently publishedbooks such as The Yowie Mystery Living fossils from the Dreamtime [URU Publications 2007] and Giants fromthe Dreamtime The Yowie in Myth and Reality [URU Publications 2000].

Our early tribespeoples called any pre-Aboriginal race on this continent Hairy Man; Giant Hairy Man orHairy People and later would-be investigators have persisted in combining all relict hominin sightings reports into asingle composite being - the Yowie. As our research findings have already shown in previous publications, the issue isfar more complicated, for far from being a single entity, the Yowie was/is more than one form of Homo erectus andanother, quite distinct race of primitive man-ape like hominins.

We know that we have critics, yet they lack the kind of fossil evidence available to us which has enabled us toarrive at the conclusions presented here. We believe our evidence speaks for itself.

High on our list was a return visit to a massive dolmen discovered by Ted. It consists of a huge slabresting upon a large flattish boulder. The structure measures 1.8m in total height, the slab altar being 30cmdeep. The altar itself is 3.5m long by 1.85m wide, standing on an north-south axis. This dolmen was thecentrepiece of a temple enclosed on three side open to the east. I spent considerable time measuring thistemple, which lies on an east-west axis, and although its crumbled granite boulder walls lie amid scratchingbracken and trees, I was able to measure its length at about 34m long east-west and 70m north-south. At the

western end of the temple for its last 13m I found an enclosure 18.7m wide north-south entered at its centre

by a 4.7m wide opening, beyond which was another massive granite altar stone placed on an north-south axis.I measured this altar at 3.2m long by 3m wide and 76cm deep. At its north base lies a square granite slab37cm long by 52cm wide and 15cm deep. It bore the image of a star and images also of the Sun [Nim] andMoon [Ara] and other letterings, all of which basically declare:

Near this second altar I discovered a huge head of the Sun-god Nim lying face upwards. Measuring itI found it would have once stood erect 2.8m tall by over 30cm deep, the forehead being 1.2m wide and thefacial area being 1.4m wide by 1.25m at the base.

Weathering away upon a boulder at the north-west corner of the temple I soon came across theimages of a snake, an image of Nim whose round head had a single eye, and the Uruan letter N for Nim, thesnake image being a Sun symbol, thus: Nim the Sun.

Back at the huge dolmen upon the north end of the supporting stone on a flat surface are glyphs

reading: Here the Moons phases and their seasonal movements are observed and calculated.Here stands a temple dedicated to Nim the Sun-God and his sister, Ara the Moon-Goddess of old

Uru.*****

Deciding to have another look in the western enclosure end of the temple, I chanced to stand at thenorth end of the great slab altar in front of the inscribed step. Just beside it on its east side I noticed a

weathered-looking lump of granite overlooked previously. Picking it up, to my surprise I found it to be anancient human head carving bearing Uruan glyphs on its right side.

The head measured 18cm long by 14cm wide across the face and 13.5cm deep. The inscriptionidentified the male image, it read:

To the Mountain Temple of Nim uponthis altar King Ra-ca makes offerings.Here was an image of a ruler of the City of Gom and whatever other territory belonged to him at least

several thousand years ago.

Near the altar stone is this fallen head of the

Sun-God Nim, measuring 2.8m long by1.4m wide and 30cm deep above the surface.


Upon a boulder at the north-west end of the

temple Rex Gilroy found this weatheredimage of the Sun-God Nim. His roundhead bearing a central round eye, and his

hands hold his symbol, the Sun. The serpentimage on his right is another Sun symbol.

To the west lies a prominent pyramid-shaped, tree-covered hill requiring future investigation. If as itappears, that this was a man-modified structure, it could date back 20,000 years or more to the foundation ofthis great culture centre of the South Australian Uru.

Standing upon the open ground of a vast paddock during our 2008 visit I had found the crumblingremains of two or more stone circles and alignments. Time was running out as I set quickly to workmeasuring the largest of the circles, while a tired Heather and Ted OBrien waited for me back at our carsome distance away.

The circle in question has a 1.2m tall by 1.37m wide and 60cm deep stone marker at its centre,aligning with a stone on the circles north side, and a formation of two upright stones 15m to the south of thecircle. Between these two uprights I was to discover a fallen image of I-na, Eagle of the Sun, who in Uruanmythology carried the Sun-God across the heavens from east to west each day. The circle itself measured10.8m from north to south and 15.1m from east to west.

After measuring the circle nearby on a dirt trackside not far away I came across a unique bouldercarving of Nim and Ara face carvings and letterings. The Nim image was of two deeply carved eye socketsand the face outline of a long nose with a sun image on the right side of the face. Immediately on his left werethe worn, shallow eyes smaller nose and smiling crescent moon-shaped mouth of Ara. Glyphs to her leftstated:

Ara the smiling Moon.

Behold the Eye of Nim and the orb of Ara.The rock containing these images measured 1.5m tall by 2.1m wide and 1m deep.

*****In another part of the great open paddock I stumbled upon the remains of an ancient cemetery of the

Uru. The script of this people upon the stones being unmistakable. However, I came across a number ofundoubted Phoenician-inscribed grave markers!

The answer to this puzzle is simple. As our newly-released book Pyramids of Destiny Lost PacificColonies of the Bronze-Age God-Kings reveals, during Bronze-Age times [2000-1400 BC] these people andtheir Egyptian Libyan and Celtic allies, settled much of Australia to mine for precious metals and gemstones,as well as establish new kingdoms under their own local ruling classes. The location of the City of Gom is

within distant view of Spencers Gulf, so it appears Phoenicians had explored inland to find the Uruans [with

whom they apparently established close relations] and mine the gold and other riches of the region of the Cityof Gom. This would explain mixed Middle-Eastern and Uruan glyphs in many rock inscriptions across

Australia, dating from the later period of Uruan culture, which would eventually vanish through racialintermixture, and also migration beyond Australia to Pacific and Amerindian lands as our new book reveals.

A rock slab 74cm in height by 34cm wide and 10.5cm deep found lying against a boulder just east ofthe other Phoenician grave markers bore a trireme image and script reading:

The Banner of I-la who rests here.He brought the people here in ships.

In the paddock stood a 1.33m tall by 79cm wide and 80cm deep upright marker stone amid a 5.8mlong by 3.3m wide arrangement of stones. One side of the marker bore the message in Uruan:

Within his tomb lies Cynamo beneath the Sun Nim.

It stood nearby a 1.2m tall by 1.8m wide and 78cm deep stone bearing the Phoenician message:In his tomb

Here lies Samo.I had to return to the car as the sun was getting low in the hills. However, I came across a flat granite

slab bearing a ship image and the Celto-Phoenician inscription:All take heed.

In their ships Yaba and Yana in winter broughttheir people to this hill to give thanks to Ras Eye the Sun in a body.

Ham declares.On the way out of the scrub we stopped while I measured and photographed the weathered by still

noticeable tall granite image of a horse head, surely carved by a Phoenician or even Celtic artist 3,000 or more

years ago. It stands on a bush trackside 1.63m in height by 2.19m wide and 80cm deep, yet one more relic ofa hidden Australian history now being revealed by the Gilroys.
