…It’s a boy! A much wanted little son for Crystal and Clayton and little brother for Christina and Kaia..All the family was so

excited!! Due 27th December 2012

At 36 weeks the midwife felt like there was to much fluid and sent mummy for a scan. At 37 weeks the scan revealed that baby Jett had duplex kidneys and at 38 weeks he had stopped growing due to his placenta giving up.. Mummy was booked in to be induced 2 weeks early.

Mummy was induced but then her pre-eclampsia got worse and the doctors decided to do an emergency caesarean, it was the best thing for mummy and Jett and Daddy

was right there beside them

On the 15th December 2013, 8.36pm, You were born

You were born in the 15th December 2011 at 8.36pm..

The doctors new something was wrong..

But you were so beautiful

Mummy was very sick and was sleeping a lot. Daddy was told that because of all your special quirks and features that you may have a syndrome..

Tests were done.

Daddy told mummy when she was feeling better

Now they just had to wait.

When you were 5 days old mummy and daddy were given a folded piece of paper, when they opened it their hearts broke..

Baby boy, you had Full Triosmy 13..Patau Syndrome..

A fatal condition.

Your family was going to show you in your short life time what love was.

When you were 9 days old mummy and daddy got a call early in the morning to say one of your tubes had come out…

You were getting ready to grow you butterfly wings.

Your family took you outside to feel the grass and the sun…

The nurse said you were trying to fly away but you were hanging on for us so mummy and daddy took you back to your room.

With one last cuddle from mummy and daddy, you grew your butterfly wings and flew away.

You were too perfect for this, yet to perfect for earth..

We see you in the summer with your black and orange wings, then again in the winter in the shape of a snow flake..

Watch down us baby boy and look after your mummy, daddy, your sisters and your soon to be new brother.. Yes baby boy, your going to be a big brother.
