(Mic 5:15) And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as
they have not heard.
(Rom 1:18) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all
ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in
unrighteousness;
(Psa 21:8-9) Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his
wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
(Rev 3:10) Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will
keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell
upon the earth.
(1Th 5:9) For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
NOTES
Never make the mistake of believing that because we will not be subjected to the wrath, that we should not be stirred by his wrath.
Every time God gives us prophecy concerning future events, it is always in context to practical living.
We know that all that have trusted in
Christ as Savior have eternal
salvation.
But do we have eternal equality?
(Eph 2:8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
(Eph 2:9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.
(Eph 2:10) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which
God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
(2Co 5:17) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new
creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
(2Co 5:18) And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
(Tit 3:5-8) Not by works of righteousness which we have
done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of
regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us
abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his
grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm
constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things
are good and profitable unto men.
(Mat 10:15) Verily I say unto you, It shall be more
tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the
day of judgment, than for that city.
(Mat 23:14) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a
pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the
greater damnation.
(Luk 12:47) And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and
prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
(Luk 12:48) But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be
much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they
will ask the more.
(Joh 19:10) Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me?
knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have
power to release thee?
(Joh 19:11) Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all
against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the
greater sin.
(Mat 6:19) Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust
doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and
steal:
(Mat 6:20) But lay up for yourselves treasures in
heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and
where thieves do not break through nor steal:
(2Co 5:8-11) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be
absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or
absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before
the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done,
whether it be good or bad.
(2Co 5:11) Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade
men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
(Mat 12:36) But I say unto you, That every
idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the
day of judgment.
(Jas 3:1) My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater
condemnation.
(Heb 13:17) Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as
they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is
unprofitable for you.
(Mat 25:21) His lord said unto him, Well done,
thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been
faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things:
enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
(1Th 2:11) As ye know how we exhorted and comforted
and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
(1Th 2:12) That ye would walk worthy of God, who
hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
(Col 1:10) That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all
pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the
knowledge of God;
(Eph 4:1) I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye
walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
(1Jo 2:28-29) And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall
appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his
coming. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of
him.
(Rev 16:15) Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and
keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
