CUSTOMDESIGNED GARMENTOrdering process

UMBRO OFFER A FULL CUSTOM DESIGN SERVICE FOR ALL CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS SUBJECT TOMINIMUM ORDER QUANTITIES.

CUSTOM DESIGNOPTIONS AVAILABLE:

CUT & SEW DESIGN is when panels are cut out & replaced with alternative colours or materials. This is the most common form ofa custom jersey.

THERE ARE ADVANTAGES& DISADVANTAGESTO CUSTOM DESIGN.

SUBLIMATION. This is also a very popular way to customize your jersey or shorts to your club colours. Sublimation is taking the artwork design from your PC & printing the design onto paper, the paper is then placed onto the polyester fabric (normally white fabric) & then put into an oven. The print from the paper is then transferred onto the fabric ready to be cut & sewn together to make the garment.

The main advantage of custom kits is that you will have a design that no other club will have.

Sponsor logos, club logos can be incorporated in the sublimation process which can save money .

The main disadvantage is that you will need to have your order in 2 months before you require it as this process is all done overseas.

Another important factor to remember is that if you require additional kits during the year you will need to allow for this in your initial order. Additional stock can’t be warehoused due to the personalization to that particular club which doesn’t allow us to sell to other clubs around the country. If more kits are required for whatever reason, you will need to order to the minimum order quantities & lead times.

EMBELLISHMENTSEMBELLISHMENTSEmbellishment is to take a plaingarment and add your ownpersonal style or taste to it.

In the Football world, embellishments refer toadding things such as Sponsors logos, club logos & numbering.

EMBROIDERYRefers to the images or text beingtransferred onto a garmentusing different colourthreads to replicate thatimage.

Embroidery will wearwell over time & will lastas long as the garmentis cared for garments.

WOVEN BADGESWoven badges are the preference ofchoice for most International teams &local A-League clubs aroundAustralia. The detail that can beachieved in a woven badge ismuch greater than thestitches by an embroiderymachine. The badges can be applied in two ways ; Heat Seal where the back of the badge has a special adhesiveapplied & when pressed at 150 degreeswill activate the glue toadhere to the garment.

The other option is to be sewn onto the garment using a single stitch with a sewing machine. The only disadvantage of badges is it will depend on your logo if it will be suitable for a badge. Logo’s where text is used under the main logo makes it hard to achieve a clean look see the examples on this page. Pricing is competitive compared to all options outlined on this page.

HEAT SEAL Heat Seal is the use of a vinyl with anadhesive backing, this is the mostcommon form of embellishing.The technology of the vinyl has improved over the years & almost every jersey in most sports will have some form of heat seal vinyl.

The most common use is for numberingjersey’s & sponsors logos. The advantages of heat seal vinyl is no minimum requirements, cost effective easily applied to most garments.

The only disadvantage is that you can’t put them in atumble dryer as it will affect the adhesive qualitiesof the heat seal glue.

SCREEN PRINTINGThis is the application of a logo using a specialpaint applied through a screen onto the garment, to give it a long lasting finish when dried. The process is effective for 1 to 2 colour logo’s & can be applied to most garments.

Advantages: 1 colour logos can be very costeffective & quick turnaround.

Disadvantage; multi-colour logos will be more expensive than the above mentioned options

SUBLIMATION IS THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY UTILISED IN GARMENT MANUFACTURING. THE COLOURS, PATTERNS, LOGOS, NAMES AND NUMBERS ARE INFUSED (DYED) INTO THE FABRIC BEFORE A HEAT TRANSFER PROCESS TAKES PLACE. STANDARD GARMENTS ARE READY MADE GARMENTS IN SELECTED PATTERNS AND COLOUR COMBINATIONS WHERE FURTHER EMBELLISHMENTS SUCH AS EMBROIDERY AND SCREEN PRINTING ARE ADDED AT A LATER STAGE. BOTH TYPES OF GARMENTS HAVE THEIR ADVANTAGES WHICH THE UMBRO TEAM CAN EXPLAIN FURTHER.

There are a number of factors that in�uence the production timeframe of customized apparel. The style of garments selected, the total quantity needed to be produced, the number of embellishments to be added, supplier stock levels (standard garments) and the calendar time of year all have a bearing on the estimated production timeframe. Generally we can suggest allowing 4 weeks for standard garments and 6 weeks for sublimated garments based upon our trading terms and artwork policy’s being adhered to. Your dedicated Umbro account executive will advise you of the estimated timeframe upon commencement and throughout the job.

SIMPLY CONTACT THE FRIENDLY TEAM AT PREMIER SPORTS and give us a brief of your requirements. From there we can suggest garments and options available to you and provide you with a fully itemized quote. We are also happy to look at beating any competitor's written quote for like for like products. Alternatively you can register your sports club and email address to receive regular communication in regards to a number of special products and prices during the year.

Minimum quantities do apply to both standard garments and sublimated garments. These can be advised by your Umbro account executive once your requirement brief has been given. In some cases if the minimum quantity isn’t met then a surcharge can be paid to continue to production.

Our dedicated Umbro account managers will assist you through the following stages to ensure your garments are delivered on time and on budget.

Ideally to ensure the correct logos and colours are printed we require high resolution .PDF or .EPS �les. If these format logos can’t be supplied our inhouse artwork department can look to redraw or create logos but there may be additional fees associated with this service.

This is often the stage that takes the longest time due to a variety of reasons such as the decision making process or personnel, the time taken to source logos, the time taken to get sizes and quantities con�rmed and all this is aside from the general time taken to produce artwork and the back and forth nature of changes or upgrades. We always suggest to clubs to get this stage underway as soon as possible to avoid further delays in getting the �nal production of the job underway which is when the estimated production timeframe commences.

Premier Sports can provide two options to assist in this process. We can provide size charts for all of our garments that can be cross referenced throughout or alternatively we can provide a short term loan of garments to be used for sizing purposes to ensure the correct sized garments are ordered. Either option is supported by your dedicated account managers who can assist throughout this process.

Premier Sports can suggest two options to ensure the closest possible colour match is produced. With sublimation there does need to be a slight allowance for colour variance for each separate garment produced especially when different materials are being utilized across a variety of garments. We recommend that we are given either a sample garment to match a colour from our swatches we have on display in our showroom or alternatively we can be provided with a PMS or Pantone colour code.

SIZE GUIDE

Umbro’s commitment to the very highest standards in performance apparel means that our kits are not only technologically advanced but also resilient.

Included here are a few advisory notes intended to help you to preserve the life and colour of your kit.

• All garments may be subjectto some discolouring asof general wear and onlypartially washed off mudand grass.

• Follow garment care labelsto minimise any colour lossor change.

• Try to avoid leaving kitbundled together andscrunched up when damp.

• Do not overfill washingmachines as dirt canre-deposit causingdiscolouration.

• After use, soak in warmwater with appropriate(non-chlorine bleach based)detergent for approx 2 hoursprior to washing in machine.This will help in removalof stains and reduce thechance of colour loss.

• Umbro will not acceptliability for anydiscolouration derivedfrom foreign elementsother than those used inthe manufacturing of thematerial.

• Washing above 40 degreesor tumble drying garments/applications will seriouslydamage the products.Umbro will accept noliability should damageoccur as a result.

The first step in purchasing a football is determining the proper size for your age group.Many football leagues have different size requirements, so be sure to check with your organization to find our which is the proper size for the age group that the ball will be used with.Footballs for match use come in three different sizes which range from size 3 to size 5.

SIZE 3• Size 3 balls are the smallest

and are generally used forchildren under the age of 8.

• Size 3 balls generally weighbetween 310-340 gramswith a circumference of 58-61 cm.

SIZE 4• Size 4 balls are used for

players between the ages of8-12.

• Size 4 balls generally weighbetween 340-368 gramsand have a circumference of63-66 cm.

SIZE 5• This is the international

standard match ball for allages 12 and older, includingall adult play.

• The size 5 ball generallyweighs between 396-425grams with a circumferenceof 68-71 cm.
