All college and departments establish certain academic requirements which mustbe met before a degree is granted. These requirements concern such things ascurricula and courses, majors and minors, and campus residence. Advisors,directors, department heads, and deans are available to help students understandand arrange to meet these requirements, but the students are responsible forfulfilling them. At the end of the student's course of study, if requirements forgraduation have not been satisfied, the degree will not be granted. For this reason itis important for each student to be acquainted and remain currently informed aboutall regulations, and to be responsible for completing requirements. Courses,programs, and requirements described in the catalog and supplement may besuspended, deleted, restricted, supplemented, or changed in any other manner atany time at the sole discretion of the University of Arizona and the Arizona Board ofRegents. The catalog and supplement do not establish a contractual relationship,but summarize the requirements to be met by students graduating under theauthority of this catalog and supplement.
The determination of acceptability of credit for course work completed at anotherinstitution of higher learning, whether the other institution is accredited or not, ismade solely at the discretion of this institution as guided by its academic policybodies. Students are advised to check with the Office of Admissions to determinethe acceptability of credit from other institutions and its applicability toward aprogram of study at the University of Arizona.

"The major: Undergraduate majors must complete the general
education requirements as described in the College of Agriculture
section of the catalog. Courses in four of the five required study

marketing /sales and service businesses. In addition to the above
general requirements, ACCT 210, 310 and MAP 330 are required.
Students taking this option must also complete AEC 213, 215, 339,403, 404, 450 and 464. Majors in this option are encouraged to
enroll in additional relevant courses in the College of Business andPublic Administration.
Resource and Environmental Economics Option: This optionmeets the needs of the student interested in the economic analysis
of environmental and natural resource issues facing society. In
addition to the general requirements, AEC 217, 339, 350, 403, 404,464, 475 and 476 are required. Students are encouraged to use 44elective units in courses relating to biology, political science andnatural resource management."
