BRITISH COMPUTER SOCIETY (BCS)The International Faculty CITY College graduatesmay become members of the BCS. The undergraduate (bachelors) programmes of theComputer Science Department have been accreditedas meeting the educational requirement for Chartered IT Professional (CITP) registration andpartially meeting the educational requirements forChartered Engineer (CEng) and Chartered Scientist(CSci) registration. The BCS is the industry body for IT professionals, and a CharteredEngineering Institution for Information Technology.

NATIONAL ACADEMIC RECOGNITION INFORMATION CENTRE The degrees of the University of Sheffield thatthe International Faculty CITY College graduatesreceive are recognised and certified by UKNARIC. UK NARIC is able to confirm that holdersof the University of Sheffield degrees who studied at CITY College should be accorded thesame professional and academic rights and privileges as holders of any UK degree.
