English is my favorite school subject. I like learning it and improving my knowledge every lesson. Nowadays English language is the language of international relations. If you want to be a successful person you should know English.

Speaking English is only one aspect of learning it . You also need to know the culture, traditions and customs of native speakers.

I have chosen this topic to learn more about national American holidays, to widen my range of interests and improve my learning skills.

Martin Luther King Day

Marmot’s Day Marmot’s Day is celebrated in the USA on

February 2nd. On this day hundreds of people come to see the marmot’s awakening.

This holiday was dedicated to George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. They were American presidents. They led the USA at the hard time for this country.

On this day a lot of parades are organized. The largest and the most colorful parades are in New-York and Frisco.
