Community Life
The Village Apartments Senior Housing South Orange NJ
The Village Apartments is located at 110 Vose Avenue in South Orange, New Jersey. Opened on November 1, 1988, the building includes 51 one-bedroom, 13 studio apartments and 4 one bedroom with a den rental units for independent middle to higher income seniors. An additional 24 units are operated by Bierman Home, a shared apartment living program by Daughters of Israel. Subsidies are available for those qualified.

Our Communities The Lester Senior Housing Community
Community Life
The Lester Senior Housing Community, consisting of 175 units, is comprised of the Margaret & Martin Heller Independent Living Apartments and the Judy & Josh Weston Assisted Living Residence. Situated on the Aidekman Jewish Federation Campus off Route 10 East in Whippany, the community opened in May 2001. It consists of a mix of 84 market-rental 1 & 2 bedroom Independent Living units; 36 1-bedroom low & moderate Independent Living units; and 55 Assisted Living studio and 1-bedrooom units. When it opened, Lester was the first Jewish-sponsored, kosher Assisted Living community in the state of New Jersey.
