Offered in accordance with the Foreigners in the
Republic of Bulgaria Act, the Program for Residencies
includes one of the fastest programs (four to six months).
To qualify for application, you will need to meet the
requirements outlined below.
Application criteria
Non-EU citizen;
Valid passport with at least one year prior to
expiration date of the document;
For the residency program, the investment
requirement is €100 000;
Payment of application fees (€7 000);
Scanned copy of the passport’s first page;
Scanned copy of last visas to Bulgaria, UK,
USA and Schengen zone countries;
Color passport photo (3,5 x 4,5 centimeters on a
white background)
Proof that the applicant has no criminal record;
Attest a Power of Attorneys and the lawyer’s
Agreement;
Make a trip to Bulgaria.
Additional company cost – 750 euro per month
for the period until the permanent residency is
obtained (3-6 months)
Applicant Process for acquiring residence
1st step– purchase a property for €100 000 2ndstep– acquiring visa D temporary residency
of 180 days per year (30 days) 3rd step–acquiring extended residency of 360
days per year (2-3 months) 4thstep– acquiring permanent residency for 5
years (2-3 months)
5thstep– acquiring citizenship (five years of being permanent resident) additional fees will be required
Applicant Investment
Applicants choosing this option must invest at least one
hundred thousand Euro (€100 000) at The Vineyards
Panorama development after which the process for
acquiring the Residency begins. A lawyer’s fee of
additional 7 000 euro is required.
CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS
In accordance with the Bulgarian Citizenship Act,
foreign investors who hold a permanent resident permit
for at least five years are eligible to apply for Bulgarian
citizenship. Investors will need to file a citizenship
application and pass medical tests in their current
country of residence.
