The Virtuous Man

God provides a picture of the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31:10-31.

There is no Proverbs 32, but there’s a description of a virtuous man in Proverbs 1-30.

Three ways this advice should be viewed: Men, this is what we must be like. Women, this is the kind of man you want in

your life. Parents and grandparents, train up your sons

and grandsons to be this way.

The Virtuous Man

The virtuous man and his God. Husband is the head of the family (Eph.

5:23; 6:1-4). God is the ultimate head (I Corinthians

11:3).You must first get your relationship with God

in line. Prov. 1:7; 3:5-6, 11-12; 15:16; 28:13.

The virtuous man and wisdom. Follow after wisdom (Prov. 1:20-33).

The Virtuous Man

The virtuous man and family. How a wise man behaves in his family (Prov.

24:27; 5:15-20; 22:6; 19:13).The virtuous man and his work and money.

The husband is the primary provider (I Tim. 5:8).
