FATAL DISTRACTION: Managing Life Without Margin

Join me and the men of DUMC on October 12, 2019 from 6:00 - 9:00 am as we discover how the busyness of life can become a distraction from living life as God intended.

God’s desire and our purpose is a love relationship with Him and His children. Matthew 22:36-40

We struggle with these commands because of busyness and indifference.

Busyness and poorly chosen priorities become distractions. Distractions rob us of margin and force us to manage life in

anxiety, fear and pressure. There is a better way to live, filled with hope and freedom. Paul Payton, DUMC Men’s Ministry, Registration Link: https://whoozin.com/FWV-MPA-VU7A-YPVU

Fusion

Fusion is our Sunday morning Student Ministries worship service. All students in 7th – 12th grade are welcome. Fusion meets in our new Worship and Youth Center at 9:45 am. Fusion is a coffeehouse atmosphere with a student-led worship service and a message from God’s Word…and did we mention there will be coffee and donuts? Come check out our new space and worship God with your friends while doing so!

Elevation – Tonight from 6:00-8:00 pm

Last week at Elevation, we began a new series which takes an in-depth look at the life of Moses. By looking at Moses’ life, students will relate to God’s miraculous plans being accomplished through ordinary, broken people. The messes in Moses’ life ended up becoming miracles. Sometimes the biggest miracles come on the heels of our biggest messes.

We will also be playing a large group game, doing some up-front, interactive activities, eating food, having small group time, and watching our always hilarious STUPID VIDEO OF THE WEEK!!! Bring a friend or three and you and your friend(s) will get a welcome gift plus you and your friend(s) get to try your luck at “The Impossible Shot!!!”

Hope to see you all there!

For more information, contact Pastor Paul: [email protected] or 267-245-7874
