Wynn Grows UpThe White Legacy Extras:After The Epilogue
Well, I promised pictures of Wynn growing up, so here they are! I’m not going to bother too much with jokes or plot or anything; I’m kind of in post-legacy mode right now. Just imagine me sitting behind the monitor, munching on chips and taking random pictures.
Anyway, let’s start at the beginning. Here we have Bay, following a fine White Legacy tradition of cute fathers.
And continuing that tradition, this is right after Wynn got her toddler makeover.
Wynn learns to walk, and pulls an adorable little face, like she’s scrutinizing her father and questioning the wisdom of this “walking” thing.
She liked learning to talk, though.
Wynn was kind of the household sweetheart. Everybody loved following her around and autonomously playing or cuddling with her.
She also had this amusing habit of disappearing from the nursery and reappearing in random places around the house.
She continued that tradition as a child—such as this moment, when I expected to find her in her bedroom, and instead she was chatting with her Auntie Lara in the parlor, literally all the way across the house.
Wynn gives the traditional child speech.
She got into private school pretty handily, even with the dirty looks Lara was shooting her through dinner. Hey, she can’t help it; she has exactly zero neat points.
My fault. I married in the slob.
Since we all love private school uniforms, here she is in hers. She looks like she’s feeling kind of silly in it.
June teaches Wynn to study. School wasn’t really her “thing.”
Although I did discover around this time the true pleasures of three-bolt stalking. Bay had this amusing habit of always seeking June out, wherever she was. He was like a cat; frequently, for example, June would be taking a shower, and Bay would walk into the bathroom and admire a towel rack. “Oh, I wasn’t following you. I was already going to be here. I’m only here to admire this towel rack. This has nothing to do with you.”
In this particular picture, I twisted the angle from Wynn doing homework, and discovered Bay had come home from work and found the chair nearest June. It made me laugh.
I mentioned Wynn was the household sweetheart? Well, she was also the ghost sweetheart. They never left her alone.
Another example of Bay’s stalking habits.
Here, have a few shots of Wynn as a teenager.
Her Family Sim instincts kicked in with a vengeance a few days after her birthday. She was constantly pestering me with romantic Wants. “I want to fall in love, I want to date, I want to flirt, I want my first kiss,” etc., etc. Which fits in rather perfectly with my plans for her, actually. Ehehe.
What does this picture have to do with that? Not much. But she has acne!
Wynn also developed a love for swimming.
It was a frequent Want of hers.
She and Auntie Lara were besties. This was autonomous, too.
Family night in the hot tub.
I loved her pajamas. Just thought I’d mention that.
Lara was bored, and started rolling Wants for sewing. So I obliged her, and eventually she had her gold and made Wynn this dress. It was pretty cute, I think, and she wore it for a few days before switching back to her normal outfit.
Autonomous smustle time in the bathroom. There’s those towel racks Bay admires so much, by the way.
Cake shots! This is a big moment for the legacy: the tenth generation heiress is becoming an adult!
Naturally, I took many pictures of the event.
Such as this one. I like how all this is happening in front of the family couples’ portraits.
And here she is, ready to take on the next adventure!
I forgot to get a real picture of Wynn’s adult outfit, so here, have one of her in CAS. Sorry ‘bout that.
And that was Wynn’s childhood! We covered it in no more than twenty-eight slides. Wow. I didn’t even know I could do that.
Here, have some pictures of other things that happened during this time period which didn’t directly involve Wynter here.
For instance, Bay reached his LTW of becoming Captain Hero.
June also reached her LTW of becoming a prestidigitator, but not before becoming an ecological guru. Her desired job took forever coming up in the computer, and I ended up giving her Natural Science to tide her over. I loved the very June-like careers she went through—Unnatural Crossbreeder, for example, and Dinosaur Cloner.
The butler went senile and called the police department for no reason. Useless Cop wasn’t too happy about being called over when there was no burglar.
I also discovered that Useless Cop isn’t actually a police officer. He came home with June in the carpool, meaning the game has him in the Entertainment career track, not Law Enforcement.
In other words, Useless Cop is an actor. Not a cop.
No wonder.
June made my first ever plate of Santa cookies. Maybe I should try to summon Santa in my next challenge.
Bay transitioned to elder in style.
Of course, this is when I get those funny transition outfits I was hoping for.
Here’s Bay and June in their real elder outfits.
Not to end on a sad note, but Lara finally passed away the night of Wynn’s adult birthday. But don’t worry, she got to be there for it.
And that is officially all for this legacy. Thanks so much for reading, and happy simming!
