The piano/vocal project taking Wimberley by storm, Pear Duo shares the marquee with comedy magician, Pe- ter the Adequate. Comprised of Curtis Brengle and Julie Ragins, Pear Duo’s musicians have worked, recorded and toured the last 25 years with some of the greatest house- hold names in music such as The Moody Blues, Shee- na Easton, American Idol, Englebert Humperdinck, Sergio Mendes, the Point- er sisters, Ray Charles and more. Their rich, hypnotic sound and vocals embrace everything from Adele to Patsy Cline, Stevie Won- der and the great American Songbook. Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues writes in their album liner notes, “…I’ve been lucky enough to experience close up, the pleasure, the joy and mag- ic Julie and Curtis can cre- ate…” Following Pear Duo, comedy magician, Peter the Adequate, will amuse and amaze revelers with a per- formance that has thrilled fans for more than 35 years. Peter Hinrichs, who uses the stage name, Peter the Adequate, studied theater at the School of Perform- ing and Visual Arts in San Diego and with members of the Royal Shakespeare Company at the Univer- sity of California in Santa Barbara. He has delivered more than 250 different theatrical performances in Mexico, the USA and Can- ada, entertaining millions around the world with his magic. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the party will wrap at 9:00, giving partiers plen- ty of time to attend anoth- er party or head home to watch the ball drop. Tick- ets are $75 and include Prosecco and catered hors d’oeuvres. The bar will sell beer and wine. Celebrate the success of 2019 and get ready for the year to come with The Wimberley Play- ers! He is enjoying his time at the WAG refuge where he has plenty of room to run and buddies to play with, BUT it’s not a home of his very own. Samson deserves to be in a active home where he can take walks and enjoy a yard to roam. Help us find Samson his home for the holidays.
