6.) It is mufully agred between th parties, hereto, tat time is of the essence of this

Gontract and fherefore, no natice of default sfall be necessary in the evert th

construction of the wark is nt compfete within the time specified, if heing agreed

that fram the compensatian otherwise to be paid to the Contractor, the Qwner may

rtain the sum af ONE HUPIDRED DOLlARS tQ0A0 per day far each

thereafter, Sundays, and holidays inc{uded, that the work remains uncflmpleted

which sum shafl represent fhe acfual damage which the Owner wiU have sustained

in the even# of such default by the C4ntractors. The Contractor shall also pay fhe
