The work you make possible
PRESIDENT CLINTON’S FIRST CAMPAIGN FOR NATIONAL OFFICE HAD A SIMPLE AND unifying theme: Putting People First. This message reflected his belief that every person deserves a chance to succeed, everyone has a responsibility to act, and we all do better when we work together.
From its founding, the Clinton Foundation has been guided by this same set of principles. You’ll fi nd these refl ected in this 2018 impact report and its new format – an interactive magazine that puts fi rst the stories of the people who are part of our Foundation community.
Because of the generous support of individuals, corporations, foundations, and other organizations, our work has helped countless people across the country and around the world. “People First” magazine tells the story of how the Clinton Foundation is working together with our partners to create economic opportunity, improve public health, and inspire civic engagement and service.
Throughout the magazine, you’ll meet young civic leaders, committed change-makers, social entrepreneurs, health professionals, and volunteers – all people making a difference and improving lives every day. We believe these stories matter, and we hope you’re inspired by the caring leadership and commitment the stories reveal.
We know you have many choices in the work and organizations you choose to support through your charitable giving. You can be confi dent that we make the most of every single dollar that is contributed; our top ratings from charity evaluators like Charity Navigator, CharityWatch, GuideStar, and the Better Business Bureau refl ect that continued commitment.
Our work continues, and you are a vital partner. We must do everything we can to put people first and empower people to live their best life stories.
On behalf of President Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, our Board of Directors, and everyone at the Clinton Foundation, we thank you for your trust and continued generosity and support. We’re honored that you choose to support our efforts to build a better future for children, families, and communities around the world.
