The JTECH Commander ECHOTM communicates with all of the JTECH ECHO Instruments wirelessly and stores the data even when the Console is turned off or powers itself off. Once the test results are transmitted from the ECHOTM Instrument to the Console from over 30 ft. away, the Console displays all of the results and calculates the Coefficient of Variation (CV) Reliability Criteria, the Right to Left Strength Deficit and Repeat Trial Consistency for Spinal Inclinometry and Calculates the Spinal Range of Motion. The JTECH Commander ECHOTM communicates with all 7 of the JTECH ECHOTM Instruments wirelessly and the ECHOTM Console and Instruments are the most portable Instruments available for Onsite FCE’s and Job Analyses.
JTECH ECHOTM Force Gauge
JTECH ECHOTM Hand Grip Gauge JTECH ECHOTM Pinch Gauge
The JTECH Commander ECHOTM Force Gauge can be used for all of the WorkEval’s One and Two Hand Lifting, Pushing and Pulling Tests, any Job Simulation Test and any Job-Site Force Measurement, with the data transmitted wirelessly to the ECHO Console for all data calculations.
The JTECH Commander ECHOTM Hand Grip Gauge allows you to perform all of the WorkEval Hand Grip tests, including the Maximum Hand Grip, the 5-Position Hand Grip, the REG Hand Grip, the Preferred Hand Grip and the Hand Grip Fatigue Test, with the data transmitted wirelessly to the ECHO Console for a calculation of the Right to Left Strength Deficit, CV Reliability Calculation and the Fatigue Index.
The JTECH Commander ECHOTM Pinch Gauge allows you to perform all of the WorkEval Hand Pinch tests, including the Maximum Lateral Pinch, the Tip Pinch, the Palmar Pinch and the Preferred Pinch Tests, with the data transmitted wirelessly to the ECHO Console for all data calculations of the Right to Left Strength Deficit and the CV Reliability Calculation.

JTECH ECHOTM Inclinometer
JTECH ECHOTM Downloader Software JTECH Mobile Static Lifting Platform
The JTECH Commander ECHOTM Downloader Software enables you to quickly create color reports from the data collected on the Commander Echo Console with the click of a button. The reports allow ample space for clinicians to include information about the patient and they provide a fast and easy hard copy of the test results from any of the JTECH Commander ECHO Instruments.
The JTECH Static Mobile Lifting Platform is uniquely designed to be ideal for WorkEvals in small clinics, for On-Site FCE’s and for Pre-Placement Screening. The Sliding Handle System on the Platform easily adjusts for any Horizontal Distance so the worker does not have to move, and the rapidly adjustable Belt System adjusts for any Vertical Distance so you can test any Two Hand or One Hand Static Whole Body Lifting Test, and it weighs less then 15 lbs.
With the JTECH ECHOTM Muscle Tester, you can determine the precise amount of weakness of any Extremity and most Torso muscles due to any Orthopaedic or Neurological injury. The muscle test results are transmitted wirelessly to the ECHO Console for a calculation of the Right to Left Strength Deficit and the Coefficient of Variation (CV) Reliability Criteria. The JTECH Commander ECHO Hand-Held Manual Muscle Tester totally eliminates all of the grading-guesswork from Manual Muscle Testing.
The JTECH ECHOTM Dual Inclinometer or the Dualer IQ ProTM Digital Inclinometer provide FCE Evaluators the ability to gain an objective assessment of Spinal Range of Motion with the data transmitted wirelessly to the ECHO Console, where the results of your tests and the Reliability Criteria are stored until you decide to erase it from the Console’s solid state memory.
The JTECH JobSim Basic SystemTM Bailey Dynamic Push-Pull SLED
The JTECH JobSim Basic Lift SystemTM is a flexible Lifting System that is sturdy enough to test any worker’s Maximum RARE Material Handling ability or any Job
Specific Lifting task. It’s 30 in. x 30 in. x 7 ft. with 2-Adjustable Shelves and Barrier Plates that are easily positioned. It requires 100 lbs. of Counterbalance Weights on the Rear Weight Holders, which are purchased separately.
The Dynamic Push-Pull Sled is the ideal tool for evaluating a worker’s Dynamic Pushing and Pulling ability. The Handle adjusts for any
height worker and it holds enough weight to test any worker’s Dynamic Pushing-Pulling ability. The high-density polypropylene runners will never wear-out or mar your carpet. The Dynamic Push-Pull Sled is a must for any FCE program since it provides the only way to accurately measure a worker’s Dynamic Pushing and Pulling ability.

Bailey High Rolling Weight Cart
Hausmann Carry-All Weight Box Bailey Low Rolling Weight Cart
The Hausmann Carry-All Weight Box makes it possible to test the worker’s One Arm Carrying ability, such as in carrying a Tool-Box. It has a Dowel Handle, 2-Cut-Out Hand Grips on each side and it holds up to 75 lbs. It’s made of ¾” Plywood covered with a high pressure Oak Laminate protective finish and it has a 1 in. Weight Rod.

The NIOSH Lift Box 10.5 in Square, 14 in Tall and 14 lbs. with a 50 lb. Weight Capacity
The Small Lift Box 8 in Square, 12 in Tall and 9 lbs. with a 25 lb. Weight Capacity
The Medium Lift Box 13 in Square, 16 in Tall and 19 lbs. with an 80 lb. Weight Capacity
The Large Lift Box 14 in Square, 17 in Tall, 21 lbs. with a 100 lb. Weight Capacity
The Double Lift Box (Inset) 12 in x 24 in x 7 in Tall and 19 lbs. with 2 Weight Holders and an 80 lb. Weight Capacity. It can also be used for a Stair Stepping Test.
The High Rolling Weight Cart holds over 300 lbs. of Disc Weights in 2.5, 5 and 10 lb. increments, and it makes it easy to keep these weights close to your JobSim Lift System™ and Dynamic Push-Pull Sled and to access them without having to bend over to a lower weight holder. And two Weight Carts are much more efficient for larger programs where there are multiple Lift Stations or where the Push-Pull Sled may be separated from the JobSim Basic Lift System.™
The Low Rolling Weight Cart makes it easy to place weights on the Push-Pull Sled. It holds 600 lbs. of Weight in 2.5 lb., 5 lb. and 10 lb. increments, and it can make your FCE’s easier to perform when your Lifting Shelves and SLED are separated from one another.
Purdue Pegboard Fine Motor Skills Test Minnesota Manual Dexterity Test
The Purdue Pegboard is the standard test of a worker’s Fine Motor Skills ability. It’s simple, quick, standardized, it has good norms and it provides a variety of One and Two Hand tests. The Purdue Pegboard should be a staple of every FCE and WorkEval Program.
The Minnesota Manual Dexterity test has been the gold-standard for decades for testing Gross Motor Skills following any Orthopaedic or Neurological Hand Trauma injury.
Five tests are available with norms: a Placing Test, a Turning Test, a Displacing Test and One or Two-Hand Turning and Placing Tests. The 2-Board System is recommended for FCE’s because it’s easier to set up and use than the Single Board System.
The Cardio Pulse Hand- Held Heart Rate Monitor Is the easiest way to take an accurate heart rate throughout an FCE. The Sensor technology is a product of NASA’s
The Wrist-Type Blood Pressure Cuff is the most comfortable way to record Blood Pressures during an FCE, and they’ve been proven to be as accurate as an Arm Cuff. It takes only seconds to capture and display the Blood Pressure and Heart Rate on the extremely large display, and it will automatically turn itself off with disuse to preserve the two AA batteries.
Space Program and it works by the moisture in the skin. It displays an accurate Heart Rate after six beats and patients prefer this way of capturing Heart Rate over Chest Lead-Wrist Watch monitors, and a 9-Volt Battery will last for years of frequent use.

Flat Disc Weights work best for the Material Handling tests and the Push-Pull SLED, and you’ll want to have at least 400 lbs. in 2.5 lb. 5 lb. and 10 lb. Discs to make it easy to keep enough weights close to your JobSim Basic Lift SystemTM and your Bailey Push-Pull SLED.
Digital Camera, Camcorder and Tripod Complete Computer System
FCE programs need a good camera, preferably a Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) with a powerful flash and one that can also capture video. A Tripod is also needed for your Video-FCE’s and for your Job-Site Analyses.
A quality computer system is recommended with a fast processor, a TB Hard Drive, 8 GB of Memory, 2-External Backup Hard Drives, a Wireless Mouse and for your video work, a 22 in. External Monitor.
An Arm Blood Pressure Monitor with a Large Arm Cuff is also needed for workers with large Arms. Although the Wrist-Type Blood Pressure Cuff will work with 98% of the population, you must also be prepared for those workers with very large Arms.
FCE Evaluators should have the highest expertise possible in assessing the functional status of all job-related Orthopaedic and Neurological injuries. This only requires simple evaluation instruments, including at least 4 Goniometers of different sizes, a Buck, a KaWe or a Babinski Reflex Hammer (Buck Pictured), a C-128 Tuning Fork, a Two-Point Discrimination Gauge and a Tape Measure.
The best way to determine a worker’s ability to Climb Vertical Ladders when they return to work is to have a Vertical Ladder in your clinic so you can test them. They will climb on the lower rungs only for safety, but they can climb up and down as much as needed to see if they can meet their job requirements. Ladders must be purchased separately and securely mounted.

The IsoTrack Pro is the Most Advanced Strength Testing System Available
In the 1970’s, University of Michigan research demonstrated that the incidence and severity of industrial Low Back injuries, and all other Musculoskeletal injuries, could be decreased substantially if an Industrial Strength Testing program was implemented. But the Americans with Disabilities Act made hiring by the risk of injury discriminatory, so professionals stopped performing these tests in the early 1990’s. This was very unfortunate because for two decades quality strength testing equipment has not been available, but strength testing is valuable for diagnosing certain diseases, assessing Orthopaedic and Neurological injuries, evaluating progress in rehab programs, assessing the strength of injured joints, and determining whether or not the injured worker can safely exert the forces they will need to exert when they return to work.
Now, after two decades, JTECH has moved the science of Strength Testing forward a quantum leap with the incredible IsoTRACK ProTM, which has exceeded all previous Static Whole Body Strength Testing machines in several critical areas. First, it allows One-Arm Testing with Right to Left Strength Comparisons calculated in addition to the traditional Two-Arm Tests. Second, it can test Pushing, Pulling and Lifting through a 180 deg. Arc. And third, any Specific Muscle Group can be tested with Make-Testing protocols. These state-of-the-art features add flexibility that no other Strength Testing Machine has ever provided, and since the IsoTRACK ProTM is a Sturdy Pole-Platform Machine with a Rigid and Comfortable Muscle Testing Stabilizing Chair with a Multi-Vector Alignment System that allows for fast, efficient and accurate alignment of the Force Cell to the patient’s body part, the patient is always in a comfortable and stable posture with no fatigue-related issues for the patient or the FCE evaluator.

A 6-Step Rolling Stand-Ladder, or Staircase, is helpful for testing Fork Lift Operators, Truck Drivers and Heavy Equipment Operators, because it provides the ability to test whether or not they can take that first high step to get up into their equipment by having them climb up on the second step while using either one or both hand-holds to assist them. The lower two steps can also be used for a Climbing Test and for testing Patellofemoral and Knee Joint Dysfunction with the Stepping-Up and the Stepping Down Tests on varying height steps.
JTECH's Optional Manual Data Entry (MDE) Software Module lets you enter your test results collected with Non-JTECH Gauges into Tracker Version 5 or Eval Express 5 Software to obtain all of the standard calculations, to compare the results to the established norms and to create professional looking reports.
JTECH Hand Evaluation Software Module
The Comprehensive Hand Evaluation (CHE) Module was developed by Hand Specialists and provides an efficient interface that guides you through the Hand Evaluation by simply selecting the proper tests from menus and documenting your results by clicking on the proper response from lists, so documenting your results takes no longer than it takes to perform the evaluation itself. The reports can also be edited before printing and they can be uploaded to your EMR system.
