Grisport products are manufactured in the picturesque village of Montebelluna, at the foot of the Dolomite Mountains, Italy. Our beautiful surroundings and the environment are tremendously important to us and we aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible. 70% of the power used to produce our footwear comes from Solar energy – from our photovoltaic plant – one of the largest in Italy and the result of an investment of over £5million. Our research and design department, part of our staff of over 2,000, are dedicated in bringing you the very best footwear at unbeatable prices.

Unlike almost all of our competitors, we continue to manufacture our products in Italy and not the Far East. From initial design, right through to final production we can control our product
quality from our factory at the base of the Dolomite Mountains, in Montebelluna – Italy.
The technical stuffShape and fit
As comfort is our number one priority, we conduct extensive testing using different foot shapes. We believe everyone is guaranteed utmost comfort and minimum foot fatigue.
Support System
The Support System® is an effective heel locking system designed and patented by Grisport to get perfect control of the foot through optimum adherence during all phases of movement. The fit is always comfortable and secure.
Outsole. We use many types of outsole on our boots. All of our outsoles are designed by our design team, even our Vibram patterns which are unique to Grisport. Look out for rubber and Vibram soles for greatest durability.
Waterproof & breathableKeeping your feet dry is one of our main aims. We use a variety of linings to ensure that rain water is kept out of our boots, while
moisture and heat is allowed to escape. This works in the same way as human skin. In addition we use waterproof leathers in our boots and tape all internal seams as an extra precaution. All boots marked with our waterproof logo conform to British waterproofing standards.
Vibram solesVibram produce the most durable soles available. Both slip and shock-proof rubber.
Arch support insoles
Our insoles are anatomically designed for additional comfort and are treated with anti-bacterial compounds. The insoles are removable making replacement easy for people with special insole and support needs.
Tough inner liningsOur boot linings are made of tear and abrasion resistant, ladder proof mesh fabric, that is extremely breathable. This unique lining creates an air-circulation effect in our products helping to keep feet cool on long walks.
Cushioned toe-jointOn several of our designs you will find the cushioned toe-joint. Our research has shown that this jointed area adds significantly to wearer comfort.
The lacing of Grisport shoes guarantees even and safe grip without any particular pressure points, key to this is the self-locking hook.

This special configuration in our designs, prevents tendon fatigue, aiding a comfortable walk.
Anti-tendonitis relief
We produced our first handmade pair of trekking boots in 1977 – today we make 15,000 pairs of boots and shoes every day. Despite phenomenal growth and the use of state of the art technology, our initial aims remain the same – Comfort, quality and the use of the very best materials.

Many of our designs incorporate a protective toe-cap. This helps prolong the life of our boots while also ensuring additional impermeability from water.

The hooks of Grisport shoes are made of steel so as to guarantee extreme resistance over time and a better slide for the laces.
Quick lacing
Sole Lining – This is both insulated and breathable.
Midsole. Made of dual-density PU. This material contributes to the low weight of our boots and help with our cushioned walk guarantee.
Stabilizer – This denser PU helps to prevent twisting when walking on rough terrain.

Safety Symbols Key
These safety shoes bear the CE marking as they are compliant with the technical rules set forth in directive 89/686/EEC and subsequent amendments for PPE (personal protective equipment) and the requisites of the harmonised standard EN ISO 20345:2004 or EN 345-1:1992. The non-skid properties have also been checked according to the EN 13287:2004 or ENV 132287/00 method. In consideration of the risks the shoes at your disposal protect you from must be considered Category II PPE (pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 475/92), they are subjected to a “CE standard test” of CE Certification procedure at Notified Body no. 0498 RICOTEST – 37010 Pastrengo (Verona), Italy, via Tione no 9. Since these are safety devices, the shoes offer the highest level of protection envisioned against mechanical risks; this particularly refers to the protective toe-end that guarantees the front of the foot resists: • 200-Joule impact at the toe-end, with remaining height min. 14mm (size 42) *• crushing with 15kN (about 1.5 tons), remaining height as above.* * according to the applicable testing method conditions of EN ISO 20344-2004 or EN 344-1:1992** The symbols for the non-skid requirements are applied starting from 01/11/2007. GRISPORT’s production prior to the date has in any case been tested for the non-skid features on steel bottom with glycerine lubricant with the minimum requirement of 0.15.
The supplementary protection class of the shoe corresponding to the symbols of the protection classes are indicated in the table below: The shoes at your disposal may be marked with one or more symbols of the table to indicate the features in addition to Basic Safety. As an alternative to the symbols, the symbolized categories of safety shoes can be shown in brief by one of the following abbreviations:
