The WRAG November 2012 Western Region MAG Group AGMs It’s that time of the year again at which, you the membership get to have your say in how your local group is run. Bristol MAG’s AGM is at 8:15pm on the 15 th November at The Railway Tavern, Fishponds, Bristol. Not-Avon MAG’s AGM is at 8pm on the 6 th November at The Lamb Inn, Iron Acton, S Gloucestershire. Weston& North Somerset MAG’s AGM is at 8:30pm on the 14 th November at The Railway Inn, Sandford, N Somerset. Don’t forget to bring your valid membership card otherwise you won’t be able to vote! Regional AGM The Western Region MAG AGM is being held on the 3 rd February 2013. Weston & North Somerset MAG are hosting the AGM at Hewish Village Hall, Mays Green Lane, Hewish, North Somerset, BS24 6RW. Registration starts at 11:30am and the AGM will start at 12 noon. Light refreshments will be served for lunch, and after the business of the AGM, Questions will be taken from the floor in a Q&A session. Please bring your current membership card or you won’t be able to vote! Bristol MAG Bristol MAG had an extremely successful MAG Awareness Day at Riders of Bristol in October. Bristol MAG had an enjoyable evening of Skittles after inviting the Road runners and other local Clubs to the Railway Tavern. Despite losing a wonderful evening was had, so Thanks to everyone who supported the evening. Bristol MAG Soup Run Despite the inclement weather over 50 bikes turned up at the Burrington Inn, where there was just time for a quick cuppa, before Dan led the run off on its traditional jaunt through North Somerset into Bristol. Where, at the Julian Trust a heap of food, toiletries and other stuff was handed over.

Hoggin the Bridge
Once again the region MAG stand was at
Chepstow for the annual Hoggin the
Bridge.
Two memberships were taken and a query
sorted out, also folk popped in to have a
chat, it was also great to see MAG
members coming along to see us.
Weston Bike Nights
Despite the awful weather on some of the
Bike Nights, it must have been the worst
summer so far, and over £8500 was raised
and handed over to the Royal British
Legions Poppy Appeal.
Horsepower to Horseworld
Roger & Lyn of Fred’s Run fame have
organised a charity run in aide of
Horseworld near Bristol.
It costs just £5 to take part with all money
going to the charity, which looks after
maltreated horses and ponies.
Meet at the Burrington Inn at 10:30am for
an 11 am off. Events
