Sponsorship Opportunity
Unlike previous years, the sponsorship packages now include only one sculpture for the 1 day event. Moving away from the full weekend not only makes the event more affordable for you but allows us to be more creative during an action packed day. For the first time, we have a number of packages for you to choose from. Each package includes:
A stunning bespoke Ice Sculpture built to your requirements
Your Company logo contained within the Sculpture base
Inclusion in 40,000 printed Ice Trail maps These will be distributed at the Visitor
Information Centre, Park and Rides, Railway Station, Coach parks and businesses within
the city
You will be included in all our extensive online/print activity promoting the event
The sculpture can be positioned in a location useful to your business
Opportunity to build a promotion or offer around the sculpture. For example to increase
social media followers, sign ups to a newsletter, increase footfall on the day.
The packages are:
Bronze £600+vat = 1 block of ice Silver £900+vat = 2 blocks of ice Gold £1,250+vat = 3 blocks of ice
Platinum £2,000+vat = 8 blocks of ice Please note the blocks refer to the size of a single sculpture, not the amount of sculptures. Each package is for one ice sculpture for the day. Bronze Package. One block of ice 1m x 50cm x 25cm. One day to be created. For the bronze package, you would receive an ice sculpture similar to what we have usually provided for the York Ice Trail. An ice sculpture carved from one block of ice and displayed on an ice base with your logo floating inside. On these sculptures, one solid block of ice is used and do not need sections of ice to be fused together. Below are some example of the type of ice sculpture you would receive with a Bronze package. 1m x 50cm x 25cm Cost £600 + VAT Bronze Sculptures:
Silver Package. 2 blocks of ice, 2 days to create. (One block of ice 1m x 50cm x 25cm) For the Silver Package, sculptures would be made fusing multiple sections of ice together to create a more complex ice sculpture. These sculptures will be larger and take twice as long to create than the Bronze package sculptures. Silver sculptures will be going to town on detail and form and creating something even more impressive in detail as well as size. Cost £900 + VAT Silver Sculptures:
Gold Package. 4 blocks of ice, 2-3 days to create. (One block of ice 1m x 50cm x 25cm) For the Gold Package, almost half a tonne of ice is used to create something truly breath taking. These sculptures will much larger than both the silver and Bronze packages. One of these huge sculptures will take two members 2 to 3 days in a freezer to create. If you’re looking for something huge and detail orientated the Gold package is for you. These pieces will be approx. 1m wide x 2m tall. Cost £1,250 + VAT Gold Sculptures:
Platinum Package. – only 2 sculptures in the entire trail. 8 blocks of ice, 4+ days to create. (One block of ice 1m x 50cm x 25cm) For the Platinum Package, a full tonne of ice is used to create something even bigger than the Gold package! We recommend something interactive like a throne.
Due to the size of these sculptures we can only accommodate two orders for Platinum sculptures. They will also be placed in a prime location, on Parliament Street. These will be allocated on a first com first serve basis. Cost £2,000 + VAT Platinum Sculptures:
