The Black Sorrows and Vika & Linda Outdoor eventJoin us for an evening under the stars on the Karralyka lawn and experience two of Australia’s much-loved musical acts as they light up the outdoor stage in two separate show stopping performances.
Vika & Linda Bull have one of the most distinctive, versatile and emotionally charged sounds on the Australian music landscape. The sisters have forged diverse pathways into soul, gospel, blues, country and the island music of their Tongan ancestry.
Following the fabulous Vika & Linda Bull we will welcome to the Karralyka stage for the very first time Australian favourites, The Black Sorrows. Led by frontman Joe Camilleri, The Black Sorrows continue to have audiences on their feet with their infectious interplay of solid grooves that mixes blues, roots, old school R&B with flashes of jazz, country and Brill Building pop.

Johnny Cash the concert:back to san quentin - 50 years onAfter a sell-out show at Karralyka in 2016, Australia’s own Man in Black, Daniel Thompson, returns to Karralyka with his latest hit show Johnny Cash the Concert: Back to San Quentin.
In 1969, off the back of the huge success of the At Folsom Prison album, Johnny Cash recorded the second of his legendary prison albums at California’s notorious maximum-security prison, San Quentin.
This album continued his meteoric rise to his place as a legendary figure and icon of 20th century popular music.
This performance will celebrate the San Quentin album, plus the hits and favourites spanning Cash’s 50 year recording career.

Michaela Burger returns to the Karralyka stage following a sell-out performance of Exposing Edith, with a story that will ignite memories for millions of Australians who have followed a similar journey.
A Migrant’s Son is Michaela’s tribute to her Greek migrant family and hard-working, fun loving larrikin father Luke who defied all odds.From early morning deliveries for the family bakery at age seven, down opal mines in Coober Pedy at age 16 and opening a chain of discount supermarkets in Adelaide, Luke’s journey was not one for the faint-hearted.
Featuring a live band, including piano and bouzouki, Michaela tells her family story with poignancy, heart and comical aplomb. The show is both hard-hitting and hilarious, traversing 100 years from Russia to the Australian outback – following the hardship, ingenuity, tragedy and triumph in all migrant stories.
The cabaret performance is set in the Karralyka function rooms and includes a two course Greek feast.

Celebrate our Toe Tapping 40th Birthday with The Melbourne Welsh Male Choir featuring Kate Amos Tuesday 14 April What better way to mark our 40th Birthday celebrations than with some scrumptious birthday treats and a performance from Karralyka favourites, The Melbourne Welsh Male Choir. The choir are regulars on the Karralyka stage. They are the perfect choice to host our birthday party sing along. The choir will be joined by soprano Kate Amos, one of Australia’s most artistically versatile and highly sought-after young sopranos.
