JACK W. HAYFORD, D. LITT . FOUNDER AND CHANCELLOR, THE KINGS UNIVERSITY KENNETH C. ULMER, PH.D. DEAN, THE KINGS OXFORD PROGRAM Study this summer at historic Oxford University. The summer session of The King’s University at Oxford University is part of The King’s global vision. It is a time to experience life changing teaching on practical, relevant issues facing the Church today, and be exposed to the historic journey of Christendom through the intellectual, historical, and spiritual paths of the oldest surviving university in the English speaking world. A life-changing experience! This year we will reside at St. Anne’s College. This outstanding college was founded in 1879 as the first Oxford college with the express vision to educate women. It has been coed since 1979 and is now one of Oxford’s largest colleges. One of the highlights of our time there will be the morning worship ser- vices. Join us this summer in the historic town of Oxford, casually tour the thirty-nine colleges of Oxford University, enjoy the beauty of the river scenes which wind through the city, and experi- ence engaging times of study at the magnificent St. Anne’s College, Oxford University. Participants will gain new insights into the challenges of doing ministry in a culture in transition that con- tinues to drift from its’ Judeo-Christian foundations. Our time together is designed to inspire and encour- age individuals to a more effective Christian life and engagement in ministry. Emphasis will be placed on the call to proclaim and demonstrate the cen- trality of Christ in today’s culture. In our sessions we will boldly confront and challenge the present mindset of doing min- istry in today’s culture. These interactive ses- sions will include significant dialogue, discus- sion, and participation from students from a wide range of experience. At Oxford you will walk where the great lead- ers of the English and American Church walked and studied; including the premiere preacher of the Great Awakening, George Whitefield; the great proclaimer of Holiness of Life, John Wesley; and the most recog- nized preacher of history, Charles Spurgeon. Walk through the pages of history in the sacred sanctuaries of Westminster Abby and St. Paul’s Cathedral. This is a once-in-a-lifetime learning experience.
