• sample water with skilled scientists • camp with fellow warriors • educate learners on the river banks about saving water resources • help to clean some of our rivers and • form part of an adventure of a lifetime namely a 16 day river rafting adventure! 14 March: Camping and sampling on the river. 15 March: Intervention at one of the primary schools situated on our river of choice. 16 March: Outdoor lectures on sampling and protecting our water resources. 10 April: Second selection on grounds of questionnaire completed. 8/9 May: High Performance Lab testing, swimming pool sessions as well as psychological testing. 16 May: Final selection of Water Warriors bound for the 16-day adventure in September. You must be able to swim, be fit, willing to be tested in the CPUT High Performance Lab, avail yourself to undergo a water safety course in your spare time, be willing to learn more about saving water resources and willing to teach learners and fellow students what you learned, willing to spend your entire September vacation on a river and be willing to undergo psychological testing to ensure positive group cohesion for 16 days on the river.
