High Demand Classes & WaitlistsSometimes programs may fill before the registration session concludes. TRS considers these “High Demand” classes. “High Demand” classes are marked with a next to the title. If a class fills, the participant will automatically be placed on a waitlist. Participants will be contacted if placed on the waitlist and a space becomes available.

TRS Support StaffSupport Staff assist as needed in all aspects of your participation in TRS programs. Duties may include: assisting with transportation, supervision, limited personal care, prompting, and support as participants work towards program, and their individual recreation goals.

Beginning in the Fall 2014 semester, participants will not be able to register for programs if they have an outstanding balance of over $200. Participants need to pay for a program before it occurs. If a program meets for multiple weeks, payment must be made before the last meeting of the program.

InclusionPeople with disabilities are encouraged to participate in recreation programs that meet their interest and functional level. Please check out Roanoke County, City of Roanoke, and City of Salem general recreation programs. Contact TRS for more information about Inclusion Services.
