* At the direction of the shift editor, post stories to News1130.com that are factually correct and constructed properly in terms of spelling, grammar, and punctuation. * Ensure those web stories have the correct pictures and links attached. * Ensure the website is updated in a timely fashion with the latest information. * At the direction of the shift editor, send out Breaking News Alerts and Tweets from the News1130 Twitter account. * Be fluent in all forms of social media and be proactive in using social media to improve the profile of News1130, including interacting with News1130 listeners/readers online. * The successful candidate will work a Wednesday to Sunday week but will be available for other days/times and statutory holidays at the discretion of the News Director.
