FOOD BANKS AGAINST HUNGER RAISES OVER 3,250 TONS OF FOOD IN TWO DAYS
Food Banks Against Hunger collected in Portugal this week-end a total of more than 3,250 tons of
food in the campaign that took place in more than 1,147 commercial surfaces in the areas of
Abrantes, Aveiro, Braga, Coimbra, Cova da Beira, Évora and Beja, Leiria-Fátima, Lisbon,
West, Portalegre, Porto, Santarém, Setúbal, S. Miguel, Viana do Castelo, Viseu, and for the first

finding this volunteer operation no parallel in our country. December 2010
