Wear your favorite holi- day attire and bring your special Teddy Bear to the Warren Performing Arts Center from 10:00 to 11:30. This is for children from 2 to 10 years of age and they must be accompanied by a paid adult. Tickets are $5.00 per person and must be paid in advance. Call the Foundation office at 869-4383 to reserve your tickets. There will be entertainment and Mr. and Mrs Santa Claus will visit. Midterm Reports go home 11/17! PLEASANT RUNS ANNUAL HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE November 1st– 30th All proceeds will benefit the Old Bethel Food Pantry. Please remember our Veterans on November 11th. WINTER RECESS: Well its that time of year when we need to remind parents to make sure their children have appropriate cloth- ing for recess. We will be going outside for recess if the temperature and the wind chill are above 20 degrees. Dear PR Families: Please remember that 2nd quarter Progress Reports will be sent home with students next Friday. I ask that you take time to discuss your childs progress, particularly their current strengths and weak- nesses. This is an excellent time to develop 3 academic and behav- ior goals as we approach Christmas break. Next week is American Education Week. This is a week that cele- brates public education. We are so blessed to live in a country where a free education is available to all citizens. Even more so, we are blessed to have students in a district that provides the best of the best opportunities for ALL students. I salute our district admin- istrators, school board and staff members for serving public educa- tion. I want to also recognize our partners in this endeavor-our families and community members. Thank you for all you do to support us in educating our students. There will be a career fest at the high school Tuesday night to high- light the great things our high school and career center offer students. I hope to see everyone there! El desayuno anual con TEDDY, el osito, pa-

trocinado por la Fundación de Arte y Educación de Wa-

rren será el sábado, 18 de noviembre. Use su atuendo

favorito de vacaciones y traiga su oso de peluche especial

al Warren Performing Arts Center de 10:00 a 11:30. Esto

es para niños de 2 a 10 años de edad y deben ir acompa-

ñados por un adulto pago. Los boletos cuestan $ 5.00

por persona y se deben pagar por adelantado. Llame a la

oficina de la Fundación al 869-4383

para reservar sus boletos. Habrá

entretenimiento y visitarán el Sr. y

la Sra. Santa Claus.

Bueno, esta es la época del año cuando

tenemos que recordar a los padres que

se aseguren de que sus hijos tengan la

ropa adecuada para el recreo. Saldre-

mos para el recreo si la

temperatura estuviera su-

perior a 20 grados.

Estimadas Familias de la escuela Pleasant Run:

Recuerde que los informes de progreso del segundo trimestre serán enviados a

casa con los estudiantes el próximo viernes. Le pido que se tome el tiempo para

analizar el progreso de su hijo, particularmente sus fortalezas y debilidades ac-

tuales. Este es un excelente momento para desarrollar 3 objetivos académicos y

de comportamiento a medida que nos acercamos a las vacaciones de Navidad.

La semana que viene es la semana de la Educación Americana. Esta es una

semana que celebra la educación pública. Somos muy afortunados de vivir en

un país donde la educación gratuita está disponible para todos los ciudadanos.

Aún más, tenemos la bendición de tener estudiantes en un distrito con las mejo-

res oportunidades para TODOS los estudiantes. Saludo a los administradores de

nuestro distrito, a la junta escolar y al personal por prestar servicios de educa-

ción pública. También quiero reconocer a nuestros socios en este esfuerzo:

nuestras familias y miembros de la comunidad. Gracias por todo lo que hace

para ayudarnos a educar a nuestros estudiantes.

Habrá un festival de carreras en la escuela secundaria el martes por la noche

para resaltar las grandes cosas que nuestra secundaria y centro de carreras

ofrecen a los estudiantes.

Espero verlos a todos ahí!
