THERN DAVIT CRANESGIVE YOUR TUG A LIFTVERSATILE Although any Thern davit crane model can be mounted on your boat, ship or platform, the Captain Series 571 (1500 lb. capacity) and 572 (2200 lb. capacity) are the most popular crane used on tug boats all over the world because they provide extended height, extended reach and smooth 360° rotation while loading supplies and equipment. The Captain series cranes are available in manual or power winch operation. An optional ratchet style screw-jack can be added for precise boom adjustment from 45° to 90°.

AFFORDABLE The Captain Series cranes provide an affordable option for cargo handling as they can lift and position virtually anything weighing up to 2,200 lbs.

DURABLE Thern davit cranes are rugged and built to last. The crane comes with standard red enamel finish or optional Epoxy coated for additional protection against corrosion. Custom colors are also available.

Designed for permanent installation and smooth rotation, the Captain 1500 provides extended height and reach, and still only requires a 6” concrete floor for installation.

Designed for permanent installation and smooth rotation, the Captain 2200 handles larger loads with extended reach and height. Requires a foundation pad for installation.

The best of all worlds, handling large loads up to 1.5 tons, with an adjustable boom for high lifts and almost 10 feet of reach, and can still be disassembled for relocation.
