Piggies on an Island
Angela Bond I Week 2
Waste
Considerations: Landfills are a pressing problem
Land availability vs Volume of waste
1. Collect it at its source
2. Separate it immediately where possible
3. Waste sortment that reflects local disposal systems
4. Disposal system that decreases the volume of waste
Solution
Facility management separates waste
You may or may not have the opportunity to separate your waste
Waste is sorted again by either human or machine
Waste is incinerated then buried or recycled
Waste is transported
organize discard
{Piggies on an Island will simplify the redundancy }
