• In recent news, controversy has been on the rise questioning if politics are responsible for the drastic drop in common core supporters

• Do you think it’s a possibility..?

• Article author Allie Bidwell, an education reporter for the USNEWS, covered the story looking into possible reasons as to why politics are getting the blame.

• Why did she cover the story? ….What's her point of view and motivation?

• In her opening thought to the story, she refers to it as “sounds like the chicken-and-egg debate”

• Could this infer she feels it to be repetitive or pointless?

published an article on what the common core is in general as if to get all the negative attention back to the basics.
