The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will follow the presentation and will conclude with a healing service. From the Pastors Desk Elizabeth Menke and Brett Hord were united in the Sacrament of Ho- ly Matrimony on Saturday, October 15 here at St. Rose. This weekend, we will take up a second a collection at the doors of church for World Mission Sunday . Your prayers and generous gifts to the Society for the Propagation of the Faith in the collection today will help missionaries offer the poor of these areas practical help as they share the mercy of God. It will ensure the development of local dioceses and support the work of priests, religious and lay leaders who serve in those on the margins and in most need. Thank you for your kindness and gen- erosity! Tuesday, November 1st is the feast of All Saints . This is a Holyday of Obligation. Masses will be on Monday, October 31 at 7:00 p.m. (Vigil Mass) and Tuesday, November 1 at 8:00 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. The offer- ing envelopes for remembering the souls at the Mass on All Souls Day are available on the tables in the back of church. To mark the conclusion of the Year of Mercy, Solemn Vespers will be held in the Chapel of St. Gregory the Great at the Athenaeum of Ohio on Sunday, November 6 at 7:00 p.m. Father Anthony Stephens, CPM will be the presider and homilist. The music provided by the Athenaeum Cho- rale will feature works by Near, Vaughan Williams and Rutter. All are invited and welcome to attend. The Office for Respect Life Ministries has adult-only buses reserved this year for the 2017 March for Life on Friday, January 27. Buses will leave on Thursday, January 26 and return Saturday, January 28 at 11:30 p.m. The cost for the bus is $106 per person. Reservations for two nights at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center are available at a group rate of $318.32 for single occupancy, $159.16 for double occupancy, $212.11 for triple occupancy, and $79.58 for quadruple occupancy (this includes taxes). Food, transportation, and miscellaneous expenses in Washing- ton, D.C. are the individuals responsibility.
