J-7 to 10 cards have this CMcA quote on the back of a blank card: When we make our first vows, it is not surprising if we feel anxious, and pronounce them in a timid, faltering voice, being as yet unacquainted with the full extent of His infinite goodness, to whom we engage ourselves forever - but when we renew them, it ought to be with that tone of joy and confidence that the experience
of His unceasing mercies must inspire. I can put this on the inside of the any of the cards.

The story of the Sisters of Mercy and their ministry under their
great leader deserves to be remem-bered as one of the greatest epi-
sodes in the history of the Ameri-can Church.
Destined in her zeal for Christ to travel more miles than Paul of Tarsus and to found more convents than Saint Teresa
of Avila, Frances Warde is one of the greatest women in the history of the
Church in the United States.
Mercy has a human heart.
- William Blake
Frances became, at the age of thirty-three, the leader of “the first seven” Sisters of Mercy to go to the New World. “Seven”
was kind of a mystic number in the Mercy Congregation. Seven Sisters, among them,
Frances, had been the first received into the Community in Dublin in 1832.

His glory. - Catherine McAuley in a letter to
