This goal encourages our campus to focus on the greatest area of need.
Our Grading Scale
• 90-100% = A
• 80-89% = B
• 70-79% = C
• Below 70% = F
• E = Excellent• S = Satisfactory• N = Needs
Improvement• U =
Unsatisfactory
Grades are calculated on cumulative
percentage and are rounded up
whenever possible.
• A numerical grade is given in LA, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
• An E, S, N, or U is given in PE, Music, and Art.
• An E, S, N, or U is for given for Conduct and Study Habits both in the room and in Specials.
Students shall be assessed a penalty of 10 points per day for up to three days for work not turned in on time. Extenuating circumstances will be given consideration, and exceptions will require approval of the campus principal or designee. Late work turned in after three days will be assessed a maximum 30 point deduction. If the work is not turned in before the end of the six-weeks grading period, a grade of zero will be assigned.
An assignment is considered late if it is not turned in
the day after it is assigned. If an assignment is not turned in, I will note it in their planner. Please
check the students planner everyday for
homework assignments. Every late homework assignment results in a mark on their behavior sheet.
