Mixed messages marinate in the mind./clues as to what’s inside lie in a books’ binding/
where falsities and truths are ripe for the finding./art lovers of literature decry/
sales are the reason why/covers sometimes speak the truth/
yet other...times...lie.

The faces of readers are different than in the past. Books with diversity and gender equity have not caught up with the reading clientele.
