Parents of elementary, middle school students encouraged to get addi- tional Tdap vaccine now Kershaw County School District officials are encouraging parents to be sure their students are vaccinated with a dose of Tdap vaccine on or after their seventh birthday to protect them from pertussis (whoop- ing cough).
