In 2007, the idea of assisting home owners with renovating their properties and with bringing their visions to reality sparked the development of Fortune Construction Group. Their constant request for contractors gave the organization’s Founder and President Alvin Cepeda, the idea to branch off from real estate and property management to a full-scale construction company.

Senior ManagementAlvin Cepeda, President - Mr. Cepeda is responsible for growing Fortune Construction Group into a major developer of domestic and international properties totaling $100+ Million in Project Value. He brings 20+ years of business experience, having founded Fortune Property Management Corp, Fortune Realty Group, A&A Records, Fortune Sports Media, and Co-Founded Seguro Enterprises Group.

Emanuel Kanaris, Chief Procurement Officer and President/Co-Founder of BDM Solutions LLC ( An FCG Affiliate)-  Mr. Kanaris is an experienced builder and developer in the New York Metropolitan area with 30+ years of construction knowledge. Recent Projects under his management include El Jardin De Seline the first high-rise affordable GOLD LEED mixed use project in the Bronx and other mixed use developments with construction budgets ranging from $6 to $60 million.

Erick A. Caceres, Lead Project Manager- Mr. Caceres has been directly involved in the creation and development of some of Northern Manhattan’s most progressive and innovative bars and restaurants  since his start in 2002.  In 2004 Erick spear-headed the restoration and conversion of a 22,000 sqft 1920’s railroad station in Harlem into 3 commercial spaces which now house trendy bars and restaurants  down in the newly labeled “The Viaduct” in West Harlem. Mr. Caceres co-designed Umbrella Bar and Lounge, he began the concept creation of an organic fast food BBQ chain called Billy’s BBQ, he formed a restaurant  group, “Vida Café Inc,” that among many concepts created, they developed Mamajuana Café and Thalay Restaurant, he also crated Pulperia On Essex and Patacon Pisao.

Hugo Filion, Chief Human Resources Officer - Mr. Filion serves as the Human Resources Manager for Fortune Construction Group. He is responsible for overseeing all human resources management and industrial relations operations for the organization. Mr. Filion is also a retired veteran with 20+ years of management experience.

Senior ManagementArturo Diaz, Chief Estimator- Mr. Diaz is the project estimator for Fortune Construction Group. He brings 30+ years of experience.

Gabriel Cepeda, Chief Financial Officer- Mr. Cepeda is responsible for building upon the financial strengths and keeping them consistent with the company’s focus and commitment towards its projects and customer service. In addition, Mr. Cepeda is responsible for maintaining the company’s strong balance sheet and providing strategic evaluations of growth opportunities and creating value for development partners. Our youngest project manager, Mr. Cepeda brings a unique, modern, and innovative mindset to the organization coupled with 5+ years of Business Development experience.

Julian Cepeda, Project Manager- Mr. Cepeda is a manager for all projects of Fortune Construction Group. Mr. Cepeda brings 10+ years of experience in property management, commercial and residential construction; he has worked on projects consisting of over 500 units. At Fortune, Mr. Cepeda is responsible for all onsite management of all commercial and residential projects which includes all mechanical, electrical, telecommunications, and carpentry teams.

Jhadanauth Pratab, Electrical Teams Director- Jhadanauth Pratab supervises all electrical teams of Fortune Construction Group. Mr. Pratab brings many years of experience handling electrical and general construction projects.

Jose Camarena, Telecommunications & Network Director- Mr. Camarena is a telecommunications & network director of Fortune Construction Group. Mr. Camarena brings 6+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry and several years of experience working on general construction projects.
