Airi Liimets, 1) Professor of Philosophy and Sociology of Education at the Institute of Educational Sciences of the University of Tallinn and at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. 2) Head of the Centre for Philosophical and Pedagogical Anthropology at the University of Tallinn.  3) The main research areas are Philosophical Anthropology (Human being as limes; learning, acting, silent and chattering, questioning, dying person; human being - time - space - difference), Philosophy of Education (concepts of education), Sociology of Youth (life style of youth), Music Education (music in school culture and in life style of youth); Psychopedagogy (learning styles).  4) The Supervisor of 11 PhD students at the University of Tallinn and at the Drama School of Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. 5) The freelance musical designer for cultural programming at the Estonian Public Broadcasting;  Repeated appearances as a pianist in the opening ceremonies of academic conferences (with preferences for the work of W. A. Mozart, A. Skryabin, S. Prokofiev, R. Schumann and E. Grieg).

Roma Kriaučiūnienė is the Director of the Institute of Foreign Languages of Vilnius University She graduated in the English Language philology from the University of Vilnius in 1985 and she has been teaching at Vilnius University since 1989. In 2004-2008 she was a doctoral student at Klaipėda University and in 2009 was awarded a doctor‘s degree in Social Sciences (Education) (07 S). Her professional interests include foreign language didactics, foreign language teaching theories; personality development in teaching/ learning process at universities; the development of students’ intercultural competence and value attitudes; the development of teachers‘ competences (intercultural, general, linguistic, pedagogical); social responsibility, intercultural communication.  Assoc. Prof. Dr. Roma Kriaučiūnienė investigates foreign language teachers’ viewpoints on the development of learners’ intercultural competence in the process of foreign language teaching/learning. She is also interested in researching into educational prerequisites of the development of students’ intercultural competence and value attitudes and integration of values into study programmes of contemporary universities as well as the investigation of foreign language teachers’ approach to instrumental and terminal values and their approach to the development of values in the lessons of the English language.Assoc. Prof. dr. Roma Kriaučiūnienė disseminated her research data at variuos international conferences in Lithuania and abroad (Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Austria, Turkey, Italy) as well as had her research papers published in Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Turkey, Slovenia, Italy, India and Check Republic.
