•This teacher led activity aims to remind children of the ‘- less’ suffix which they met in week 8, when it was introduced as reversing the meaning of the word. •This time, the ‘-less’ has been paired with it’s opposite ‘-ful’, so the children see that fearful means he has lots of fear fearless means the reverse, he has no fear The children are asked to add the suffix which means ‘ has lots’ (fearful), or the suffix which means ‘has none’ (fearless). •The next slide is an answer sheet for each child to go along with the IT presentation, and should be printed, and given to the children before the start. •There are 2 examples to start, when the children get the chance after the feedback to suggest ‘why’ the ending is correct. •Children should then write in their choice of suffix on the answer sheet for the remaining questions after each slide is shown. •They then discuss their reasons for their choice with the Week 9 IT32 Suffixes ‘-ful’ and ‘-less’
