This year we celebrate togetherness. LifePath is blessed to havecome together with many partners: our staff, the people weserve and their families, our board, volunteers, supporters andthe communities where we work. So many wonderful connections continue to sustain us and this year took our work to ahigher level…
• We joined together to meet emerging needs. This year, when the Hamburg State Center announced its closing, we teamed up with families and other resources and helped 8 individuals to be happy in their new LifePath homes.
• Our HighMark Walk for a Healthy Community team formed our biggest Walk team ever.Not only did we break our own record for fundraising at the event this year, but we werealso the number one organization for all seven of the walk locations across Pennsylvania and in Delaware. We have some very successful and proud volunteers, supporters and
board members sporting their blue and magenta walk shirts on page 4.
• MMMMM: The largest bakery in the world joinedtogether with us! The people at Bimbo Bakerieshave been so impressed by our Laundry Servicethat they have gone from being our customer to being a great supporter, providing us with equipment, volunteers and some fantastic enthusiasm.
• One of our staff members and an individual we serve celebrated working together for 40 years!This is a tremendous testament to special bonds formed between staff and individuals, and the immense care staff and individuals share together. You can see these special bonds smiling together on our back cover.
All of these examples come down to one thing: people deciding “We’re going to getsomething done together.”
