Small house tightly squeezed in between twin houses. The road curls its head like a snake and lifts its head in towards the entry.

Two levels, one dug down, is protected by a shallow roof angle. The stairs welcomes you with a wide path that narrows down towards the front door. Inside a small hallway with adjecent cubbards creates hideouts for kids. The next paralell narrow hallway directs your attention to the doors and the light coming in from the end livingroom windows.

The long kitchen carefully supervices the street outside. Around the corner the stairs to the gallows, the sarcofagous, with its thick red carpet. Two rooms for older kids on each side, a small bathroom and a small workshop. The oven is massive with its fiery red bricks.

The smallest room on the other side of the hallway upstairs is reserved for the youngest, secure next to the big parentural hideout with a bathroom in between.

In and out and back again

The wirlwind passes through every room, but stays away from the cubbard of darkness and walks quietly down the perpetuing stairs

All movement has a irregular shapes and flows. The most intresting darker shapes is the most intresting and where the running stops

Theres a cubbard that hides out. Its next to the entry hall. We put our most unwanted items here. The old mans helmet rests on a shelf and invites me in.

The darker passage connects the outside to the livingroom. Its narrow but long og exiting. Its the forbidden area at night because it reveals the life of the grown ups

Soft fluffy red

The relentless running creates funny tracks in the big red carpet room. It is more dense and flat in the centre than on the perifery


The black “whole”

An infinitude of infinities is in the darkness. it is the space where grown ups can not see, there hiding can reveal the innermost secrets


Hanging loose

Percipitation of ice and snow requires a lot of wool. Old and new jackets hanging in a tight little space by the front door

The master of speed and perfection twirls its surroundings up and around. Low level flying from top to bottom. the chimney penetrates all levels.


Bad dreams lurks in the shadows

Underneath the staircase to the basement theres shadows that devours small children. its tall, unfriendly and collects dust. Its safe if other people is around


Dirty dozen

the stairway to the house served as a landfill for percipitation. Walking to the front door could be troublesome for small feet


Cumulus granitus

Outside the livingroom window the mountinous landscape shows its streangth. It is a play with light and shadows, snow and rain that paints the countours during the seasons


Cravasses in the landscape

Outside in the end of the garden an natural cravass in the rock creates perfect hiding for secret things


Wiew out of the bedroom window

The scenary is varied, the play around the house. outside towards the east pine foresst rise high in the sky. the dark green colour is multifacetted.

Garage plan

The floor of the garage is dirty with shadows of oil and dirt. Its a good place for diry work like working on cars, but its to cold.In the summer its mostly empty.


Blowing puff

The strong wind from the fjord hurls snow out in the landscape. Its almost always blowing and its fun to play in.....sometimes we must stay inside. Then the windows flex and the powerlines make a whistling sound.


Section of chimney

The chimney is big and streaches through the whole house. Smoke is seen coming out everyday during winter. Why wouldn`t santa just juse the door, its always open..


Furniture plan of first floor

The furniture removes space but makes running much more fun.


Anti cacti

The hallway, kitchen and the stairway to the basement is linked like a “cacti”. Going down to the basement is a decent into a land of shadows.

Bedroom for toddlers

The small bedroom with firniture is only suitable for the smalles kid. It still has some floorspace for playing with toys. The door is left open, even during the night.


Bedroom for grownups

This bedroom has a dark space behind it. There textile is hanged up along the wall. The most intresting is all the ties that is in te innermost corner. It covers the range of all colours and lengths


Naked protection here

The small bathroom has no windows witch makes it darker. Its well protected with panels of wood running along the walls. Here is spilling allowed, but bathing the cat is not.


Trees prevade

The trees out of the toddler room is also always there, but they are not as green as the other. In winter only branches covers the view and then the neighbouring house is visible. Lights from their livingroom makes the room more safe in winter.
