have separated people into “us” and “them”
by ethnicity, race, religion or nationality.
This continues even today.

more recent genocides :

more recent genocides :
Hutu and Tutsi in Rwanda.

This is a very small list of the 200,000+ victims of the Bosnian genocide which occurred from 1992-1995.
This is a just a small amount of the 200,000-400,000 victims of the ongoing conflict in Darfur.
This is a just a short list of names of victims of the Cambodian genocide which resulted in over 1,000,000 deaths between 1975 and 1979.

Never shall I forget those moments that murdered my God and my soul and turned my dreams to ashes.
Never shall I forget those things, even were I condemned to live as long as God Himself.Never.
We all have an opportunity to become part of The Legacy of Hope,
by listening to the voices of the past and using their hopes and memories to shape our lives.
Their words can make us: Become part of The Legacy of Hope
Think about our own attitudes
Think about our behaviour
Help to inform our choices
Respect one another
Help us to build a safer future together
Inform the way we vote
Think about the ways we interact with one another
Celebrate the differences between us
Their words can make us:
