The teacher in Room 17 is planning an excursion to Scitech.
Please read the information below which explains details of the excursion, then complete the accompanying
permission slip. The permission slip must be returned by Thursday 14 September.
Reason For Excursion: As part of the Science curriculum students need to know that Science involves making
predictions and describing patterns - SciTech will help to consolidate what we have been learning in our Science
unit.
Activities To Be Conducted: Students will visit a Planetarium show: Tilt, a Scitech exhibition: Whodunit, see the
Science Theatre: Things that Glow and have some free time exploring.
Date: Thursday 21 September
Cost: $24.00
Transport Arrangements: Students will travel by seat-belted bus
School Departure Time: 9:10am
Return to School: 2:50pm
Student Contact Arrangements During Excursion: Please phone the school
Supervision To Be Provided: Miss Thomas, an Education Assistant and four parent helpers.
Staff Action In Case Of Accident Or Illness On The Excursion: Medical treatment will be given, or in an
emergency, an ambulance will be called.
Special Clothing Or Other Items Required: Enclosed shoes, lunch and recess to be packed in a named plastic bag,
bottled water.

permission slip. The permission slip must be returned by Thursday 14 September.
Reason For Excursion: As part of the Science curriculum students need to know that Science involves making
predictions and describing patterns - SciTech will help to consolidate what we have been learning in our Science
unit.
Activities To Be Conducted: Students will visit a Planetarium show: Tilt, a Scitech exhibition: Whodunit, see the
Science Theatre: Things that Glow and have some free time exploring.
Date: Thursday 21 September
Cost: $24.00
Transport Arrangements: Students will travel by seat-belted bus
School Departure Time: 9:10am
Return to School: 2:50pm
Student Contact Arrangements During Excursion: Please phone the school
Supervision To Be Provided: Miss Thomas, an Education Assistant and four parent helpers.
Staff Action In Case Of Accident Or Illness On The Excursion: Medical treatment will be given, or in an
emergency, an ambulance will be called.
Special Clothing Or Other Items Required: Enclosed shoes, lunch and recess to be packed in a named plastic bag,
bottled water.

Reason For Excursion: As part of the Science curriculum students need to know that Science involves making
predictions and describing patterns - SciTech will help to consolidate what we have been learning in our Science
unit.
Activities To Be Conducted: Students will visit a Planetarium show: Tilt, a Scitech exhibition: Whodunit, see the
Science Theatre: Things that Glow and have some free time exploring.

Transport Arrangements: Students will travel by seat-belted bus
