To all pupils
The SQA Exam timetable will begin today 25th April 2019. Barriers will be placed at
various points around the school - DO NOT CROSS THE BARRIERS. Please find an
alternative route to your class. The Admin corridor between medical room and
double doors going up to science/business education will be out of bounds to all
pupils for the duration of the examination diet.

Unfortunately due to the SQA Exams being held in the PE Dept there will be no
extra-curricular clubs during lunchtime until June. Fit Club will continue on a
Tuesday afterschool for all girls and female staff.

Vigil for the Deaths of Sri Lanka Bombings (26.4.19)
On the 21st April Churches and 3 Hotels were bombed with the death count over 300.
At 4pm on Friday 26th outside the Caird Hall a Vigil will be held to remember and mourn the lives lost.
It would be really appreciated if many people came along. Please spread the word.

The above club has restarted after the Easter break. Get help with your homework and have fun working with

Scripture Union are running a series of 4 lunchtime workshops that invite you to explore the Easter story. The
first will take place at lunchtime this Thursday, 25th April in Music 2 (1315). All are welcome! Feel free to bring
your lunch along at 12.20pm or join us for a 12.40pm start. For more details, see Mrs. McEleny in the Music

To any current S5 soon to be S6 who is thinking of applying for Vet Med or as a Vet nurse (30.4.19)
There is an opportunity to volunteer at Kirriemuir Horse Trials on the 4th May. If you are applying for any vet
course you will be expected to have experience with large animals.
You will be given the opportunity to Steward at the trials but will be given training for this, please note that you
will be expected to communicate with competitors. . Stewarding involves being in a field with at least 30 to 60
horses at a time. There will be other stewards and you will not be on your own. The competitors will be getting
ready to compete so if you are thinking about a career with animals it is a good opportunity to gain some
valuable experience.
Anyone who thinks they may be interested please see Miss Walker in English/Guidance as soon as possible.
