In addition, the event recognized outstanding individuals, corporations, and

community partners that showed outstanding leadership, commitment and

partnership in support of the National Black MBA’s mission – to create educational

and economic wealth in the black community.

To top things off at the event, the admission cost of the 1st Annual Leaders of

Tomorrow Scholarship Brunch included automatic entry to win a Sun Motors Cars

Mercedes-Benz C-class. Nakeya Smith, residing in Carlisle, PA, received the keys of

the car to enjoy a 3-month lease.

The Greater Harrisburg Interim chapter volunteers twice a month at Steelton-

Highspire Jr./Sr. High School as mentors and workshop leaders.  Some topics have

included presentation skills, resume writing, effective leadership, business etiquette,

character building and a college campus visit to Penn State Harrisburg.

We now have one year under our belt as an Interim chapter and are ready. The

Greater Harrisburg Interim Chapter is energized and proud of our accomplishments throughout 2009-2010 which include membership

increase from 15 to 75 and consistent implementation of programs according the 5 key

areas of engagement. We look forward to the Board of Directors decision in

regards to ourrecent Full Chapter status submission.

With your support, we can and will be successful in continuing to serve the Greater

Harrisburg community. Thanks again for your presence and support at our 1st
