WHAT IS ERASMUS+ Internship Mobility?

WHERE CAN I GO?
A Higher Education Institution in a Programme Country or
Any public or private organisation active in the labour market or in the fields of education, training and youth. For example:
• a public or private, a small, medium or large enterprise (including social enterprises);
• a public body at local, regional or national level; – a social partner or other representative of working life, including chambers of commerce, craft/professional associations and trade unions;
• a research institute;
• a foundation;
• a school/institute/educational centre (at any level, from pre-school to upper –secondary education, and including vocational education and adult education);
– a non-profit organisation, association, NGO;
– a body providing career guidance, professional counselling and information services;

HOW MUCH MONEY DO I GET?
• Contribution to subsistence costs: the grant covers partly the costs of the stay abroad
• Depending on target country, expected amount between 500 –600 EUR/month
• Payment in two installments: 80% pre-payment and 20% upon submission of documentation and EU online report
• Not compatible with other EU grants
• Does not affect financial support from CEU
HOW MUCH MONEY DO I GET?
600 EUR/month for Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland,
Italy, Liechtenstein, Norway, Sweden and United Kingdom
550 EUR/month for Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic,
Germany, Greece, Iceland, Luxemburg, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain,
The Netherlands and Turkey
500 EUR/month for Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania,
Macedonia, Malta, Poland, Romania and Slovakia
IMPORTANT INFO
• Duration: first day – last day the student is required to be at
their place of traineeship
• 12 months in total, including any previous Erasmus mobility –
not Erasmus Mundus!
• Students undertaking an 'after graduation mobility' must apply
and sign their grant contract before their graduation
• During studies internship mobility: must have enrolled status
during the mobility until return
IMPORTANT INFO
• Zero Grant: Same rights, obligations and benefits as granted
Erasmus students, but no payment.
• You can choose your country of nationality/permanent
residence – documentation required
The internship must be completed by
30 September 2017

2. Identify the desired company and position and get in contact
with them. Set up the details of your traineeship.

3. Prepare and submit your application package to CEU Erasmus
Office.

DEADLINE
Submit your complete application to the CEU Erasmus
Office by 29 April, 2016
Application documents should be unstapled.
Applications received after the deadline, emailed applications and incomplete
applications will not be considered

SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process and decisions for Erasmus exchange
are executed by CEU’s Scholarship Advisory Committee.
The Committee will send the final list of selected students for
study exchange to CEU Erasmus Office in June 2016.
