Exhibitor Fees & Information: $500 for large businesses (i.e.: publishers and university presses) $100 for local businesses and grassroots vendors ABEC will not be processing checks. Credit and Debit cards (Visa/Master card logo) and money orders only.* Exhibitors will be located in the Grand Ballroom foyer. One 6-foot table and two chairs will be provided. (The hotel will dress all vendor tables alike with a black skirt.) Each exhibitor may bring one assistant (total 2 people per vending table). BASIC set-up of A/V is recommended. If you require some other form of A/V the hotel advises it will be at an added cost to Exhibitor and must be paid directly to the Westin O’Hare at least 2-weeks in advance. Exhibitors are welcome to listen to the Plenary Sessions and Opening Evening performance by Daniel Beaty. Regrettably, no meals are included in the exhibitor fee. Vendors are also not permitted to sell any food or drink items. Materials can be delivered to the Westin O’Hare’s front desk. - The hotel requires 2-weeks advance notice of deliveries on your behalf. - Packages / boxes must be clearly marked: HOLD FOR (Exhibitor’s Name) (Arrival date) - A Black Education Congress 6100 North River Road, Rosemont IL, 60018 BOX # of # Exhibitors are to assume full responsibility for alerting the hotel of their shipments. ABEC will not be responsible for the safe storage or set-up of exhibitor’s goods and materials. ABEC’s point-person for exhibitors is Ms. Rusty Jackson. For questions or additional information, call ABEC’s toll free number 800-314-0410 or send an email to: [email protected] and write “Exhibitor” in the subject area. If ABEC’s exhibitor information is acceptable, please fill out our application and submit with your credit card payment . This form must be returned to us by September 22, or if advertising in ABEC’s Souvenir Program Book, by September 7th. You will receive an email notification from ABEC approving your exhibitor space within 36-48 hours. We welcome your vendor participation! Thank you. Thank you for your interest in being an exhibitor! The Black Education Congress is for educators, parents, community activists and students/youth. Strengthening our commitment to the Black community, ABEC is only interested in entrepreneurs and known social justice entities exhibiting quality books, educational videos, T-shirts and posters with political/cultural statements, bumper stickers, bags, jewelry and Africa-inspired clothing, merchandise and sundries. We are currently planning for 300-400 attendees. Because this is a working summit, there will be a limited amount of time when attendees will be free to browse and shop at the exhibits. To increase your on-site sales, and have our attendees purchase your products in the future, we invite you to advertise in our Souvenir Program Book. The overall book size will be 8-1/2” x 11.” If you do not have a professionally designed Ad to submit, ABEC’s graphic designer will provide one at no additional cost. A proof for approval of the Ad will be emailed from Benita Rivera ([email protected]) prior to printing. Please indicate below if you are interested in advertising. Rates are:
