THURSTON PARK by HOPKINS HOMES
Countryside living within a thriving community
Thurston Park is located in the idyllic village of Thurston, less than 8 miles* from the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds. Set amid the Suffolk countryside, this is the perfect place to make a home.
Thurston provides residents with many amenities for day to day living, most of which are just a short walk or drive away. Close by to Thurston Park is a local bakery, butchers, barbers, pharmacy and vets. For local produce the village is also host to a farm shop and, for green fingered residents, Harveys Garden Plants; a family run nursery that has repeatedly won gold medals at the Chelsea Garden Show for the rare and unusual shades of woodland plants they have displayed. Thurston's first village hall, Cavendish Hall, is used for small gatherings by local groups and organisations. The New Green Centre, set in 8 acres of parkland, is an ideal space for events on a larger scale or scenic walks and picnics. The Grange Hotel, a Tudor-style house, gives visitors an extensive range of options from dining to spa day packages.
While there are plenty of places to eat in the surrounding towns, Thurston offers a wide variety of dining opportunities. Just 0.6 miles* away is the Fox and Hounds, an award winning pub that serves a selection of quality beers and hearty dishes. Venturing further afield, is the Leaping Hare at Wyken Vineyards or Ravenwood Hall in Rougham. For those lighter bites, Tickety Boo Garden Cafe serves brunch, lunch, cakes and afternoon tea.
Surrounded by a wealth of history and culture, there are many landmarks and attractions to visit come rain or shine. For those with a passion for film, the Cineworld complex in Bury St Edmunds shows all of the latest blockbusters or, if you prefer live entertainment, The Theatre Royal and The Apex offer an extensive range of productions and live concerts. For keen cyclists, Thurston has a cycle path leading into Bury St Edmunds, alternatively there are plenty of countryside walks to enjoy.
Thurston is home to Thurston C of E Primary Academy which caters for students from Reception to Year 6 and was rated as 'Good' in their recent Ofsted inspection. Also rated 'Good' by Ofsted is Thurston Community College and the Thurston Sixth Form Beyton Campus. Only 7.9 miles* from the development is Culford School, a coeducational independent day and boarding school for pupils aged 1 to 18 years.
With a train station in the village and the A14 just 1.3 miles* away, road and rail connections are endless. By road, Newmarket is just 20 miles* away or the university city of Cambridge is an additional 14.6 miles*. By rail, an easy commute means that Ipswich can be reached in 32 minutes* and Cambridge in 52 minutes*. Arrive in London Liverpool Street in just under 1 hour and 50 minutes* from Thurston Station or in London Kings Cross from Cambridge in 48 minutes*. Travelling by air, London Stansted is less than 1 hour* by car via the M11.

THURSTON PARK by HOPKINS HOMES
T H U R S T O N P A R K
Thurston ~ Suffolk
It is not possible in a brochure of this nature to do more than give a general impression of the range, quality and variety of the homes we have on offer. The computer generated imagery, floor plans, configurations and layouts are included for guidance only. The Properties may vary in terms of elevational design details, position/size of garage and materials used. Such changes are due to our commitment to creating homes of individual character, although similar to others. We operate a policy of continuous product development so there may be material differences between the accommodation depicted in our literature and that on offer on any particular development or at different times during the progress of any development. Maps not to scale. Computer generated images of property types at Thurston Park may not necessarily illustrate that property type in its setting at this development. All internal and external photography of properties depicts previous Hopkins Homes and Hopkins & Moore developments. Other photographs are of the local area or are indicative lifestyle images. All details are correct at time of printing. Designed and produced by Trident Marketing Anglia Ltd 01473 823700 www.tridentmarketinguk.com.
