Marketing Driven Dynamic Offers project, in real-

time assesses various parameters in the value chain

such as inventory for shows and hotels, sale numbers

at restaurants and SPAs, customer’s loyalty points and

level. Based on these parameters, it dynamically offers

incentives to existing and potential customers to buy

more services such as hotel stays, restaurant, SPA,

shopping and shows, thereby improving the top-line.

The core engine is built using TIBCO BusinessEvents.

TIBCO BusinessEvents based engine evaluates various

events about a patron such as check-in, check-out,

spending, changes in the loyalty levels to name a few.

Furthermore, based on various business rules, the

engine will decide to generate an offer or a campaign.

Offers and campaigns are sent to the patron via various

channels as well as based on patron’s preferences.

Interfaces with other systems such as Point of Sales, Inventory, Campaign management are orchestrated using TIBCO

BusinessWorks and various adapters.

Single Quoting Engine project was part of the Integrated Policy Management System and its major goals included:

9 Improving the productivity of internal users by automating and streamlining the processes for policy submis-

sion and renewal, so that the enterprise will be able to retain existing customers and attract new customers

9 Documenting and implementing premium calculation rules that were embedded in third-party applications, so

that the enterprise will be able to take full ownership of the business rules, which will significantly reduce cost

for the maintenance of third-party applications and for future enhancements required by the changing market

conditions or CDI audits

9 By taking full ownership of the business rules and monitoring the policy management processes, the enterprise

will also be able to continuously analyze and improve the performance of the quoting rules, and offer its cus-
