REGISTERING A BUSINESS
• A taxpayer will click on the bottom ‘register a business’ link
REGISTERING A BUSINESS
• The registration process is a step-based process marked with a legend to help the taxpayer along:
• Yellow is still required and green is optional. We do have a ‘required’ message pop up now.
VERIFYING ADDRESS
• Taxpayers will validate their address against USPS like we do now within DELTA.
NAICS IS NOW A REQUIRED FIELD
• They can search by keyword or provide a description of their business.• They will be notified that their registration will take
longer if they choose this option
REGISTERING MULTIPLE TAXES
• Taxpayers can now register for multiple taxes on one screen in LaTAP. Depending on how the taxpayer answers the questions, different

UPDATING INFORMATION
• A customer can update their location address, mailing address and set up a payment source
• ‘I Want to’ is account specific and relays information that a taxpayer may be interested in
NOTICES AND LETTERS
• Taxpayers can view some of their letters on their LaTap account
• They can also send and receive notices from LDR.
• Note: this functionality/permissions are still being determined
RETURNS AND PAYMENTS
• Customers can easily see their past returns, periods needing attention, filing returns, and making a payment
FILE A RETURN
• Depending on the return, it is either a simple one-page view or a step-based process.
MAKING A PAYMENT
• Immediately after a return is posted, a payment screen pops up to allow the taxpayer to submit a payment quickly and easily.

Master• All access on the customer level on TAP• Can only have one per customer• Has access to managing logons• Can have any type of Access Level associated with it
Account Manager• All access on the customer level on TAP• Has access to managing logons• Can have any type of Access Level associated with it

View• Cannot edit/add anything on the customer level on
TAP• Gets to see what’s going on• Does NOT get to do anything
ACCOUNT LEVELS
File/Pay• Basically has full access to the account level on TAP• Can file returns, submit payments, file for IFTA decals,
file for tobacco stamps, edit/add names and addresses, etc. . .
File• Can only do filing related activity on the account level
on TAP• Can file/edit/withdraw returns and edit/add names &
addresses• Cannot submit payments, IFTA decal or tobacco stamp
requests

Pay• Can only view things on the account level in TAP• Cannot add/edit/submit anything
