ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This wildlife program in Kanha is your window to understanding the challenges faced with conservation in the country. Working with experts from The Corbett Foundation (TCF) you will learn the fundamentals of
wildlife and in particular tiger conservation. Learn India's success story of increasing the tiger population that has given the world of wildlife lovers hope. You will also be working on various community projects with children from local schools and on the tribal
museum. A great trip for anyone who loves wildlife and wants to learn more about conservation right in the
heart of Central India, the bastion of the Indian tigers.

• Learn first hand what wildlife conservation work entails from experts in the field by taking part in ongoing tiger conservation projects with The Corbett Foundation
• Gain a greater understanding of the ecosystem and biodiversity in the forests of Central India
• Work on wildlife research collecting data through safaris and nature walks and learn about animal behaviour, field techniques for tracking them
• Volunteer in local community projects at the Tribal Museum and at a local school to gain a deeper understanding of local culture as well as animal conflict in the area
• End days with project discussions, presentations but not without laughter and fun stories

What flights should I book?
Flights are not included in your trip. When booking flights, please keep in mind that you need to arrive in Raipur before 12 noon on day one and depart after 6 in the evening . Should the connectivity from your destination not allow this, please arrange to arrive the night before. We can help with the extra night accommodation (at a nominal cost). The Trip Leader from DoTheDifferent will be in Raipur a day before the trip starts.
What is the accommodation like
The stay is at a jungle lodge and the rooms are on multi-share basis. The accommodation is modest but clean with en suite facilities and very safe.
What project will I be working on while on this trip?
The participants will be working with the team from The Corbett Foundation on their current conservation project(s) on wildlife in the Kahna & Central Indian jungles leaning towards tigers. You can expect to learn a little bit about many real techniques for identifying wildlife, animal tracking, managing the man-animal conflict etc.
